I'm here to...: To learn and grow in my faith while having meaningful conversations and fun with others through fellowship.

Interests:: Growing in my faith, the issue of Christian persecution (especially in the Middle East), social science, helping others, animals (especially cats, dogs, squirrels and raccoons), current affairs (the news), California culture and lifestyle (hope to move there someday soon), creepy Public Service Announcements (because I'm odd like that).

My story with God: I was lost and bitter for a very longtime. After a series of some very devastating setbacks I didn't know where I was going in life and was in a very dark place. I was on the edge and about to fall into the abyss. In fact, I was looking forward to that fall into the abyss as I was very attracted to things that were dark at that point in my life. That was until about a year ago when I had a "chance encounter" with a complete stranger, someone who was a believer. She changed my entire life. I became Born Again because of her. I celebrated my first year as a Born Again Christian earlier this month (November).

Other stuff about me:: I am very passionate about serving and helping others. I also have a deep passion for justice.

I hope to serve as a missionary and advocate for persecuted Christians in the Middle East. I am VERY passionate about that particular cause and am on fire for it.

I also have a strong interest in the field of public safety and would be interested in a career as a hazardous materials technician with a Hazardous Materials Response Team but my first choice is the persecuted church in the Middle East.

Here are some fun facts about me:
*My favorite food groups are: Italian, Breakfast and Pastry

*My favorite animal is the raccoon (they're so cute and furry and they are always causing problems because they are so inquisitive like children, but they are God's creatures just like the rest of us.) I also love cats, dogs and squirrels and hate seeing animals fight.
