I asked God to take away my pain
God said, No

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole

-Her spirit was whole, her body was only temporary.
I asked God to grant me patience
God said, No
-patience is a by-product of tribulations,
It isn’t granted, it is earned.
I asked God to give me happiness
God said, No
-I give you blessings, happiness is up to you.
I asked God to make my spirit grow

-you must grow on your own
but I will prune you to make you fruitful.
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life

-I will give you life so that you may enjoy all things

We often face troubling times in our lives that
cause us to worry, and lose sleep. As a child of God you
have Him at your side, holding your hand, and guiding
your pathway through those times. For, THE LORD IS
GOOD, A STRONGHOLD IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE;
AND HE KNOWS THOSE WHO TRUST IN HIM.
( NAHUM 1:7 )
He will never abandon HIS Children, throughout
their entire lives. For He is always with us no matter
what we may face, as He further promised: WHEN YOU
PASS THROUGH THE WATERS, I WILL BE WITH YOU;
AND THROUGH THE RIVERS,* THEY SHALL NOT
OVERFLOW YOU. WHEN YOU WALK THROUGH THE
FIRE,* YOU SHALL NOT BE BURNED, NOR SHALL
THE FLAME SCORCH YOU. ( ISAIAH 43:2 )
[*Rivers and *Fire in the verse represent difficulties in our
lives]
Therefore, FEAR NOT, FOR I AM WITH YOU; BE NOT
DISMAYED, FOR I AM YOUR GOD. I WILL
STRENGTHEN YOU, YES, I WILL HELP YOU, I WILL
UPHOLD YOU WITH MY RIGHTEOUS RIGHT HAND.
( ISAIAH 41:10 )
So the next time you face troubling times, do as Jesus
said: "LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED; YOU
BELIEVE IN GOD, BELIEVE ALSO IN ME." (JOHN 14:1)
Then WHEN YOU LIE DOWN, YOU WILL NOT BE
AFRAID; YES, YOU WILL LIE DOWN AND YOUR
SLEEP WILL BE SWEET. ( PROVERBS 3:24 )

How are you sister? I have been thinking of you and wondering how work and school is going? What you do is wonderful and what you want to do for all those struggling women is just such a blessing! please keep me updated on your progress and all the great women you have helped in re-establishing thier lives and leading them to God. They need to know that there is a hope, and a power to heal them and restore thier lives. They need to know that they are soo loved.
Well, sister, I have to go put kids to bed, but I look forward to talking with you soon!!

Dearest Sister in the Lord,
Ronald and I must apologize for not posting as of recently. We have been busy preparing for a missions trip to India in the very near future. We have been placing you on our thoughts and asking God to open the windows of heaven with an over abundance of blessings that cannot be contained. Reflect much on his words and remain encouraged no matter what. We are still intereceding on your behalf and thanking God for you being put into our lives daily. We Love you with the love of the lord. remember remain encouraged in the Lord and in your spirit. Let nothing ever take that peace and joy of the Lord away from you. Stand firm bearing the spirit of the sword of truth drawn at all times. We will and always are your brother and sister in Christ and family of a blessed nation not of this earth but of the Kingdom of Heaven where God is exalted most high.

Hello sister!!
I was just checking in to see how you were. I havent seen you online for a while and wanted to know if you were ok. Im doing alright I guess. Im struggling with a horrible cold, and my son is still acting up. He is in his terrible 2's at 3. Oh man, I need prayer.
Anyway, I hope all is well with you and all those children!! They keep you hoppin on your toes dont they? You are blessed. Like I said below, you must be a great grandmother!!

Dear Sister God Bless you this day. Please allow me to share the Word of God with you regarding trials and I feel this is important to emphasize that even Jesus himself said (paraphrased) "Since the world hates me. It will hate you too". The scripture references are James chapter 1:2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4 Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6 But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does. and also in 1 Peter 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade—kept in heaven for you, 5 who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

In the Lord I have had to replace negative thinking and thoughts with God's Word. It real hard to do when there was no food on the table, when there was no clothes for our children, when there was no public transportation and had to leave 4 hours early just to work and get a paycheck that was minimal at best.

The bible said that I have not because I have asked not. I had little faith and I was still a wild naive and young in the Lord. No situation is any different in the Lord. God is able. Like the scripture above stated we must not doubt. Sister if there is ever a lack please dont hesitate to contact us and allow us to help. Allow us to believe for you when you can't. I was always taught that if you pray for someone and do not meet their need your religion is unpured and defiled. We may be a distance geographically but there is always mediums to bring about assistance...We love you with the Love of the Lord
