- I am 42 year-old female. The doctors diagnosed me with cerebral palsy , but I don't it stopped me. I am have been a Christian over 22 years. I graduated with my Associate of Art in May, 2003. I goes to an Assembly of God church.

We need to get back our Christian Roots. One night, I was praying for our country and I felt like God put something on my heart that I want to share with the people in Sumter. In April our president gave a speech in Turkey that America is not a Christian nation, but I have disagrees. Many people came to America so they could worship God. Dear Editor,
My name is Robin Sherman. On July 5, I read the article in The Item about the Blue Laws. The city council wants to do away with the Blue Laws. I think the blue laws should in place.
One reason why Blue Laws be should kept in place so people can rest and ready for the next working week. Now, people are saying they earn more money if work and that is true. There is a phrase the verse in 2 Samuel 2:30 that says, “Those who honor me, I honor.” In the bible Sabbath Rest… Continue
