Rom 8:21 All creation anticipates the day when it will join God's children in glorious freedom from death and decay.
Rom 8:22 For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.
Rom 8:23 And even we Christians, although we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, also groan to be released from pain and suffering. We, too, wait anxiously for that day when God will give us our full rights as his children, [fn] including the new bodies he has promised us.
Rom 8:24 Now that we are saved, we eagerly look forward to this freedom. For if you already have something, you don't need to hope for it.
Rom 8:25 But if we look forward to something we don't have yet, we must wait patiently and confidently.
Rom 8:26 And the Holy Spirit helps us in our distress. For we don't even know what we should pray for, nor how we should pray. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.
Rom 8:27 And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God's own will.
Rom 8:28 And we know that God causes everything to work together [fn] for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
Trust is when we know all of this to be true...even when we go through times of dryness.. when we can't 'feel' God. We continue to be obedient because we know that He will never leave us nor forsake us.
As we grow in our Christian walk, we continue to pray to God and He answers those prayers. When we read our bibles, HE speaks to us through His Word.. Sometimes you read or hear scripture...and it makes you stand up and take notice...That is the Holy Spirit bringing something specific to your attention... God sanctifies us and renews us by scripture.
Trust is when we know that God is in control and we rest in the reassurance of His Sovereignty. Many circumstances are hard.. but we know that God is bigger than all o fit! When we hand over our troubles to Jesus, He takes them and sorts things out for us. Trust, Hope and Waiting on the Lord seems to go hand in hand...God's timing is perfect.. we generally seem to rush ahead and want to do things our own ways and in our own strength..
Welcome

You have asked me what it means to 'trust' God...

I wil post some scripture here that may help..
