My story with God: I am a practicing Catholic and have been all my life. I read Holy Scripture often, keep a prayer journal, pray daily and depend on Jesus to see me through this life on earth so I can be with Him in Heaven when he calls me.

Other stuff about me:: I'm suffering from the grief of losing both parents within 15 months, and then becoming unemployed. I am currently looking for work, and seem to be doing so all the time as a freelance writer. I've worked as a journalist and in corporate communications, where I've experienced layoffs three times. My friends encouraged me to join this site and find a group to help support my grief process and encourage me to keep depending on God, even when things look pretty grim.
