I'm here to...: love God again and have the relationship I had with him from years ago

I'm passionate about...: Loving and being devoted to God and my husband, helping sick, abused and injured animals through-out the world. One day I would love to teach the world about God and his amazing work.

My story with God: I was bought up a devoted Christian and had an amazing relationship with God. I feel I could not have gotten more devoted and close to God than how I was then but because I suffered with mental health problems I let my obsessive thoughts and feelings take over and this confused my greatly when communicating with God. Now I fear I cannot get close to God any more partly because I am losing faith, it is getting to the point that I do not know he is there anymore. Life experiences have turned me agaisnt God and I am scared of getting hurt by God again. This is one thing I would like to change, my believe that God has let this hurt in my life happen. I want to be happy when talking to God again rather than feeling it is a chore.

Other stuff about me:: I am getting married 22nd May 2011 to Mike. I have 2 dogs who I love dearly. I am going travelling for 9 weeks in September to South Africa to help abanonded and sick wildlife.
