My story with God: Raised Baptist, lost innocence at 13, began a long journey of pain that ended in December of last year. I battled rape, abuse, and pain only to fall victim to addiction under the control of my own ego. Lyme disease broke what was left of me and I was ready to give my life back to God but love found me. I am here because of it, It remains when all else is lost. When defiance stares God in the face and He allows you to break oddly you stop playing games with the contrived image in your head and find the Holy One. The mystery comes home and the journey is laid before you. Suddenly it looks less like a crash course and more like a deliberate plan. My father was planting disciple seeds in his children, only some grew. My eternal joy will be facing my Heavenly Father and my human father to hear them say, Well done good and faithful servant. It is why I breathe.
