I'm here to...: Find support for myself and my children while struggling with the love I have for my husband while we're separated.

Interests:: Deaf ministry, my children, quilting, cross stitching, knitting, music (I play piano and saxophone), motorcycles, shooting sports, hunting, hiking, boating, geocaching (I pretty much love anything outdoors).

My story with God: I've been a Christian for 22 years. I attend the Church of Christ regularly and work with our deaf ministry. My husband is a non-believer and that is very difficult on me because we don't see many things in the same way. I believe marriage is a lifelong commitment and there is only one biblical reason for divorce, and that is not the reason we are separated, so I don't believe what he is doing is right. I wish I was able to convince him of God's Word.

Other stuff about me:: My 2 boys are my life! It pains me that we are not demonstrating good family life to them right now. I'm also very involved in 4-H Shooting Sports (I'm the rifle and pistol superintendent in my county and also a shotgun instructor) and love every minute of it, though lately it's been difficult because my husband and I built our firearms program together. I'm just looking for a way to be Godly during this difficult time. I refuse to file separation or divorce papers because I don't believe this is right, but he keeps threatening both separation and divorce. We've been living apart for about 4 weeks now and it's just devastated me. I'm just trying to treat him with the love God wants me to have (which isn't hard because I do love him) and follow God's guidance.
