My story with God
I accepted Jesus as my savior in 1963. I was 12. Most of my sin happened after my conversion. I have prayed and praised His name. I am not sure that my name is in the Lambs Book of life. I do not feel that I am what and who God is looking for. I want to be. I want to do His will and I really want to be sure that I am saved and that my name is in the Lambs Book of life. My son denies that there is a Son of God that came to save us. I am asking that you pray for both of us. I want my son to be saved. I want him to know the God, to know Jesus and to live his life for him.
Other stuff about me:
I am 57 and I continue to work. I a type II diabetic with other complications. I need to have a chest xray soon. I know God is able to do all things and there is a place in me that says He will. I can not sing, my sisters have beautiful voices and they sing in our church. I can talk, and I do lift up that name of our Lord and Savior. I continue to do this because I know the word is true, I just know that it is. I want to be filled with the Holy Spirit and I want to be lead by the Spirit. I want to live so that I can live with the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

If you woke up this morning
with more health than illness,
you are more blessed than the
million who won't survive the week.

If you have never experienced
the danger of battle,
the loneliness of imprisonment,
the agony of torture or
the pangs of starvation,
you are ahead of 20 million people
around the world.

If you can attend a church meeting
without fear of harassment,
arrest, torture, or death,
you are more blessed than almost
three billion people in the world.

If you have food in your refrigerator,
clothes on your back, a roof over
your head and a place to sleep,
you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank,
in your wallet, and spare change
in a dish someplace, you are among
the top 8% of the world's wealthy.

If your parents are still married and alive,
you are very rare, especially in this World
today.

If you hold up your head with a smile
on your face and are truly thankful,
you are blessed because the majority can,
but most do not.

If you can hold someone's hand, hug them
or even touch them on the shoulder,
you are blessed because you can
offer God's healing touch.

If you can read this message,
you are more blessed than over
two billion people in the world
that cannot read anything at all.

You are so blessed in ways
you may never even know.

The more you stay in the word the more you will belief!
that fact that you want your son to be saved tells me you want also more of God in your life and the lives of your children. we will be praying for you son!

FROM THE FULLNESS OF HIS GRACE WE HAVE ALL
RECEIVED ONE BLESSING AFTER ANOTHER.
( JOHN 1:16 *NIV )

Always remember to count our blessings each day, and to
thank God for them! For no matter what we have, when we
look around us, we find others who have less! So never feel
sorry for ourself, instead start counting our blessings, for that
should cheer u up indeed.

Now we know that when things disappoint us, we are sad and
often depressed. However it is written that we should: BE
JOYFUL ALWAYS; PRAY CONTINUALLY; GIVE THANKS IN
ALL CIRCUMSTANCES, FOR THIS IS GOD'S WILL FOR YOU
IN JESUS CHRIST. ( 1 THESSALONIANS 5:16-18 )

Therefore, never feel that God doesn't hear our prayers
because a prayer isn't answered the way we want, or something
goes wrong in our life. For our Heavenly Father always knows
what is best for us, and: HE WILL NOT LEAVE YOU NOR
FORSAKE YOU. ( DEUTERONOMY 31:6 )

So my friend, remember to always: GIVE THANKS TO THE
LORD, CALL ON HIS NAME; MAKE KNOWN AMONG THE
NATIONS WHAT HE HAS DONE for you!
( 1 CHRONICLES 16:8 )

In closing, MAY THE GRACE OF THE LORD JESUS
CHRIST, AND THE LOVE OF GOD, AND THE
FELLOWSHIP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT BE WITH YOU ALL,
now and always! Amen! ( 2 CORINTHIANS 13:14 )

Lorene,

I just read about you story with God and was touched. The fact that you want to do God's will and be saved is one of the proofs of God's working in your life.

Let me share some verses with you:

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life."
1 John 5:11-14

God does not want you to be unsure of where you stand with him. It doesn't depend on being the right kind of person. It depends on whether you are trusting in Jesus Christ to save you and write your name in His book!

By the way, thank you so much for joining our network. I hope you enjoy your time here.

I want you to know I left you a message. You can find your messages in your Ning inbox. Just go to the very top left corner of this page and you will see an envelope icon. Click that icon and you will see all your messages.

Once again, welcome to TheNET and have a great day in the Lord Jesus.
