I'm passionate about...: ...teaching God's word with simplicity and clarity. I love teaching bible studies to anyone who wants to learn, be they men, women, teens or children. I also enjoy speaking about God and His word. I'm currently studying and writing a bible study on the Fruit of the Spirit and other character traits of Jesus.

My story with God: My journey with God has been a long, slow, and steady walk. I wasn't born to Christian parents so, I wasn't raised to follow Christ with all my heart, but to believe in the whimsical, romantic, worldly view of Jesus. Needless to say, my idea of Christianity was widely askew and hard to overcome. But God has been so very patient with me, understanding my precarious beginning. I've been a BELIEVER of Jesus all my life, a LOVER of Jesus for 37 years, and a FOLLOWER of His teachings for 20 years. Right now, in my walk, I can't get enough of Him. I feel drawn to His word and books that expound upon His word. I'm incomplete, but I'm looking forward to His fulfillment of my purpose.
Currently, God is convicting me and encouraging me to be more concerned with the unsaved people around me.

Other stuff about me:: I love my family. For the past two years, I've been raising my niece's two little girls, who are now 4 and 6 years old. This is exhausting at my age, and is taxing for me and my family. But we know that we must do the right thing, hard though it may be.
I'm the Children's Worship Leader in our church, and I sing in our Praise Band, as well.
I'm active in a local outreach program called The Great Banquet, which focuses on reaching the lost and those believers who are stumbling through their faith.
