Interests:: My interests are reading, writing, going to school, going to church, and being a good friend, companion, and mother.

I'm passionate about...: living life to the fullest each and every minute of each and every day. I am passionate about helping people through drug addiction, helping young mothers become responsible, employable, and respected. I am passionate about bible study and the need for it and also about praying without ceasing.

My story with God: I came back to God last year after drowning my sorrows in alcohol. Nobody took me by the hand and led me back, I went because I began to look at my circumstances and all I could see was darkness. I was at a state of depression that is scary to me even now. I didn't know how bad it was until I looked at my home and I looked in the mirror. One of my daughters began doing community service at a church up the street and the pastor had extended the invitation for her to come to church and she asked me to accompany her. I did and when I walked through the door, it seemed as though the Lord said you are home now. It was a day I shall never forget. There have been trying times in this walk and there will definitely be more but I am determined to stay as close as I can to the Lord. I love the Lord because He truly heard my cries and He continues to do so.

Other stuff about me:: I enjoy quiet. I enjoy meeting all kinds of people because each and everyone of us has a story to tell, and we have a chance to encourage others.
