I'm here to...: be used of God to reach the unreached with the GOOD News of Salvation

Interests:: Presently President of OASIS Internatinal Eunuch(Hijra) Welfare, Inc., a 501 (c) (3) non-profit tax exempt Organization. There are 4-6 million Eunuchs in India. No one (from any denomination) has reached them with the gospel. some attempts have been made to teach them adult literacy but with no plans to teach them alternate ways of making a living replacing begging and prostitution. My wife and I are in India now to build an educational center to train them in marketable skills such as tailoring, beauty and cosmetology, computer repairs, cell phone repairs, small scale saree boutiques etc. We purchased two acres of land. we are on fundraising drive for funds to construct the center. It all started three years ago when we came across the 56th chapter of Isaiah where the Lord promised them a place in His house if they keep the sabbaths, observe his covenants and choose those things that please Him. A quick research showed that, in India, there is no organized church where they worship. We are trying to pick up where Prophet Isaiah left off 2,700 years ago. I'm passionate about...: Reaching the Eunuchs with the gospel. Eunuchs have no rights. they are marginalized and rejected by society. they are forced to beg and sell their bodies just to survive. They live in ghettos. If god so loves them as to promise a place and a name better then sons and daughters, how can I do less?

My story with God: I was baptized when I was 12 years old. My Dad was a minister. We belong to Seventh=Day Adventist Church. At the time I was baptized, I became an Adventist. After 50 years when I gave my life in total surrender to Jesus Christ, I became an Adventist Christian. I retired at 68, having served as Professor in Andrews University and Howard University in USA, and have been serving the church as a volunteer professor starting in Kenya followed by Trinidad, Thailand and until two years ago, in India. For the past two years have been working among the Eunuchs of India..

Other stuff about me:: I left India in 1961 for graduate studies in USA, In 1967 I earned a Ph.D. Biology with genetics as major. We have Five sons, nine grand children, four great grand children.
