My story with God: I once worked as a police juvenile officer and was assigned to a case regarding a mother who was unable to supervise her three sons. She asked me to go and see this "Brother Carl" fellow before I took any action. So I did. As I recall, I spend about two minutes on this woman, and then a couple of hours on the condition of my own soul. He gave me a Bible with some homework, and I came back to him over and over again with questions and with a hunger. Well, I got saved! Completely forgot about that woman and her boys. But I got saved!! I served God for a few years, then after going through some trials that I wasn't able to handle because I didn't turn to the proper handler, I walked away from God. That was in 1997. In 2008, I had enough, and turned back to God and have been serving Him and growing in His abounding love, grace and mercy ever since.
