I enjoy the outdoors. I live near lakes and rivers so I go as much as possible to swim camp and fish. I also like to collect vintage things like old jewelry and home decor. I enjoy sewing quilts and giving them to people I care about.

I'm passionate about...

The Word of God and intercessory prayer. Many times there is nothing I can do about the injustice I see around me, but I can pray and it's amazing how God can change situations. I want to be who God wants me to be.

My story with God

I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit at a young age. I think I was around 7 or 8. There have been times when I have fallen far away from God and suffered great the consequences. However, when I have turned from my sin, He has always took me back. I grew up in a family of domestic violence then went on into a marriage and relationships under the same oppression. There has been drug and alcohol abuse. It has been a struggle to stay clean, but I have been now for the past nearly 2 years. Praise Jesus for His mercy and grace!

Other stuff about me:

I have been married once and have a 23 year old son who just recently got married. He has never smoked or drank or used drugs. I believe it is because my mother took him to a deliverance camp at a very young age and the spirit of addiction was broken off of him there. His name is Preston and he is a true son of God. He is the apple of my eye.
