- My story with God
- My mother was brought up in church as a child, she said that her and her siblings always were at church for bible study, Sundays church organizations. She had to go so much that she said she would not do the same to us, me and my older sister. Although she did make us go to church just not all the time, we went and did different things at church but as we got older we stopped going as much. As a teenager I made mistakes and this world today consumed me and I didn't go at all. I have went to church a few times but really only for funerals or some activity that involved me to go. I have had a distrust with some pastors or should I just say men, I have seen so much deception in churches and among its member that I just felt I would establish my own relationship with God on my own. I have always prayed and have longed accepted Jesus as my savior, but just have really stared to feel his presence in my heart and life and I'm seeking to strengthen my relationship with God!
- Other stuff about me:
- I have 3 children that has not been brought up religiously and I want to give them a chance to understand and feel the love of God but don't want to force it upon them. Although I know they believe in Jesus, I want them to feel him in their lives as well. I have a 10 year old that is so curious to learn about Jesus and God. He ask me questions I cannot answer, I want to be able to give him some guidance to the answers he seeks.
