I'm here to...: grow in Christ and mingle with people of faith

Interests:: My interests are going to church on Sundays and being an active member in my church. I like watching football and nascar. I also like to keep in shape by working out. I like reading the Bible and other spiritual books, and I am also interested in history.

I'm passionate about...: trying to rid myself of my vices and figuring out God's will for my life which I hope is ridding myself of those vices and marrying a beautiful woman of faith.

My story with God: I grew up going to church because my grandmother made me. It was in the Air Force when I really formed a friendship with the Lord. Since then I have had peaks and valleys but never lost faith.

Other stuff about me:: I was on wrestling in school. I joined the Air Force at 18. Most of my adult life I let women keep me from the joys of intamacy with God. I can't blame them for everything but I never met a girl who wanted to live for the Lord like I did. At 25 I got in a bad accident and got a DUI and had to do some time in jail. That experience really strengthened my faith. This past year has been tough but my faith will get me through!

Depression Because of Unemployment

With the economy being the way it is, I am sure there are many on this site who are dealing with unemployment. Unemploment can cause you to become bored, lazy, and eventually depressed. Conditions such as this could also make us become weak in faith if we don't be careful. Jesus calls us to commit our lives to an invisible kingdom, the "kingdom of heaven". Hello everyone and God bess. I have been thinking about this and I believe God put it in my heart to share this with others. I am a Byzantine Catholic and I worship the Lord in my church.
