I'm also passionate about dogs, rescuing them, finding them forever homes, training techniques, and responsible pet ownership.

My story with God

I was raised believing in God, but I never really knew Him until I attended Alpha at my Church, and then was baptized. That was where I really spent time learning and praying with other Christians, and where I realized that it wasn't just about talking the talk. I am still learning to walk the walk through His grace. It's not easy, and I am finding now that I can trust in Him so easily in most areas, but some are still a challenge.

Other stuff about me:

One of the reasons I am so passionate about dog rescue is my own little one, Rasco. I adopted him 7 years ago, and through working with him to curb some major behavioral issues, I've found him to be the more loving than I ever imagined an animal could be. I treasure our time together, whether it be out walking or cuddling on the couch. As he is getting older I'm realizing more and more what an amazing blessing he is. I truly believe that God gave him to me to teach me what it feels like to love unconditionally.
