- My story with God
- As a very young child I experienced visions of Christ in vivid detail floating on a cloud reaching out his hand to me. When I had these vivid images of Christ everything that was going wrong in my life would be gently swept away and I would become and I would be filled with a sense of joy, peace, and happiness. I experienced sexual, physical, and mental abuse as a child that came from the men who my mother entrusted my care to that lasted well into my teens. When I reached the age of 14 I was blessed to get my first job and I worked everyday for the next 32 years. I know that this was God's way of intervening for me and removing me from my situation at home. I have been blessed by Christ and I know that he led and guided me throughout my childhood, protecting me from hurt, harm, and danger. In 200 I suffered a major heart attack and had triple bypass surgery from which I suffered for five years, I lost my job, my home, and the enemy took away my sanity as I became homeless and lived on the streets of Philadelphia eating out of trash cans and suffering from the effects of major depression which brought on a psychosis of hearing voices and seeing things that no one else saw but me. I finally tried to commit suicide and ended up in the psychiatric ward of a hospital. God sent this one doctor who listened to me ans through all of my ramblings he saw the real me. This doctor was sent to me by God and when he spoke to me I felt his love and concern for me and over a course of two days I was deemed well enough to leave that secure ward of the hospital and enter into a treatment program where I flourished through the help of the Lord. Today I share my story with others who do not know that man from Galilee, the man who saved my soul and made me whole, that man's name is King Jesus Christ, my healer, my protector, my friend.
