I'm here to...: search for others who share my love of God and Christ and commune with them in hopes of strengthening my connections.

Interests:: Reading is my main pastime...books on History, Religion, spiritually-oriented. Science, Astronomy. etc..
Watching TV - Some religious programs such as Jack Van Impe, Joel Osteen Ministeries, Ken and Gloria Copeland mainly. Also things on the Geographic, History, Omni, Bography channels. I avoid watching pugilistic events such as UFC, but enjoy Canadian Football games...big fan of the Hamilton Ticats, and Major League Baseball - The Blue Jays.

I'm passionate about...: Developing an iron-clad relationshiip with Jesus Christ and striving to fulfill what is left of my life in service to him. So far I've been anything but successful in that regard. I just lost my best friend, my girlfriend Chirstel, who was 73, to cancer-related medication (morphine). Doctors would only provide Chemo, Surgery and Radiation, and we wanted alternative therapies which they would not prescribe. I'm angry about that.

My story with God: From the time I was a small child I was indoctrinated into the Protestant Church system, Knox Presbyterian Church in St. Thomas, Ontario. I prayed every night on going to bed for all my relatives and friends. It seemed to work well, as they all lived pretty long lives. When my grandmother had her first heart attack, my mother told me she would probably be gone by morning. I prayed to God that night asking that she be healed and allowed ot live on. Next morning she had improved and I believed it was God's answer to my prayer.

Other stuff about me:: When Christel was sick going down hill, I prayed to God for a miracle to save her. Unfortunately the morphine took her life one night but I felt envious of her in that moment as she lay dying over the fact that she was going to be with God. After that I grieved terribly because I missed her, and hope we may one day be reunited in God's Paradise. I tend to believe in the reincarnational aspect of life, but I don't want to be reincarnated. I'd rather stay with God and hopefully have eternal life with Him, Jesus and Christel, and other loved ones.
