My story with God: At seven years I drowned and had an experience with Christ similar to the father's response to the return of the Lost Son.
At eighteen I "died" of heat exhaustion and had an experience with the total bliss of heaven.
But I was raised Roman Catholic and was misguided in the nature of my relationship with God.
It took nearly total ruin before I was at a place to surrender.
