I can do everything through God which strengthen me.
The center chapter of the BIBLE is Psalm 118.. there are 594 chapters before and after Psalm 118
And if we will add this we will get 1188... in which the center verse of the BIBLE is PSALM 118:8
What is the significant of Psalm 118:8 in God's perfect will for our lives?
It is better to trust in the LORD, than to put confidence in man.-- Psalm 118:8
When things get tough, always remember faith doesn't get you around trouble..
it gets you through it!
When you relinquish the desire to control your future you obtain happiness...
Prayer:
Father God, bless my friend in whatever it is that you know he/she may be needing this day....
May thier life be full of your peace, prosperity and power as they seek to have closer relationship with you. Amen...
GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD, FOR HE IS GOOD. HIS LOVE
ENDURES FOREVER.
( PSALM 136:1 *NIV )
When we count all of our blessings we start to realize
how wonderful our Heavenly Father has been to us. For He not
only helps us in time of need, He blesses us abundantly as well.
Therefore we should; GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD, CALL
ON HIS NAME; MAKE KNOWN AMONG THE NATIONS WHAT
HE HAS DONE. SING TO HIM, SING PRAISE TO HIM; TELL
OF HIS WONDERFUL ACTS. ( CHRONICLES 16:8-9 )
Further, why not start each day by counting your many
blessings, and sharing with others what God has done for you.
For King David did, for he wrote; I WILL GIVE YOU THANKS IN
THE GREAT ASSEMBLY; AMONG THRONGS OF PEOPLE I
WILL PRAISE YOU. ( PSALM 35:18 )
Be thankful for all that God has done for you, and
thank Him in your prayers! For then He will smile down on you,
like a proud Father would on an obedient child!
Now please know that: I THANK MY GOD EVERY TIME I
REMEMBER YOU. IN ALL MY PRAYERS FOR ALL OF YOU,
I ALWAYS PRAY WITH JOY. Amen.
( PHILIPPIANS 1:3-4 )

Hi Fremie
It is always hard to understand the reason why someone dies, and to explain it is so much harder. For death is such a final act in life..... but when you know Christ.. we know that when we die we will spent eternity with Him in the heavenlies! And what a glorious time it will be....
But to answer your question about how to handle it... just be there for her, let her have time to grief, let her talk about her husband and listen to her stories about him, encourage her.You dont need to say to much just care for, and love her.
A friend of mine also lost her husband last month, she know he is with the Lord and that is encouraging to her,but it is so hard especially over the festive season, and that is understandable but we are trying to ease the pain by being there for her, sending a sms, giving a hug, encourage her from the Word.
What is her name so we can pray for her and ask God to strenghten her soul and give her peace!
BLessings to you
