My story with God

I used to be a drugs and alcohol addict. I had been to drug rehabilitation treatment centers but no result. My life was then full of pain, guilt, shame. I was living life backwards with no growth. I had had the thought of taking my life several times but fear of hell won't allow me go through with it, although I was born a Christian (in a catholic home), I never knew what real Christianity was, I didn't really understand much of Christ Jesus. Never understood what justification by faith meant; so I was depending on my good works to justify me before God and I didn't have any good works. Until on a marvelous day in march 2014, I gave my life to Christ and my healing from addiction came. Although along the years there has been lots of trials, challenges and temptations ( some I have carelessly fallen for, but God in His mercy has been longsuffering and patient towards me). In the year 2018 I was called into ministry (Evangelist), and I have since last year been in training, so I can be an effective tool in the hand of my Master Jesus.
