- My story with God
- I thought that my story with Jesus started when i was 16. That year i had to pass some exams in school, and met there one girl... If this meeting wasn't planned by God, i would never ever talk to this girl, because we had totally different interests... But now I'm positive that it was from God...
I looked at this girl and felt that there are something inside, something amazing and beautiful, something contagious! and that something was so attractive, i felt that i need to talk to this girl and discover what is so special in her... Later I understood that it was Jesus!!!! When she first mentioned Jesus in our conversation, i was shocked, because this girl supposed to be Muslim... But still she told me that Jesus is her Lord and Savior. "How do you know about Jesus????" And i thought to myself " I am Christian, i have to tell you about Jesus and not you!!!! " And that moment i understood that i know nothing about Jesus.... I was so ashamed.... And i had fervent desire to know who Jesus is. And i was listening to her testimonies, soaking them like a sponge, wishing to have the same testimonies in my own life. we were talking about Jesus for hours and still it wasn't enough for me!!! I wanted know more and more about Him. I just fell in love with Jesus! He became my obsession!!!
She invited me to their church... But this kind of churches was very unusual for our family, because my family are orthodox Christians, who pray standing before icons... That's why daddy was against it... But that girl was praying for me and she gave me a good advice. She said that God commanded us to be obedient to our parents. And if i love God i will do His will, that is I'll be obedient to my parents.... And i thought "indeed it means i need to give up and agreed never go to church???? NOOOOOO!!!" Our life became nightmare because we had fighting every day!!! I tried make Daddy let me go to church and all were in vain, he never did.Than i agreed to give up... As soon as i humbly surrendered all to God, He made a miracle... Suddenly my parents changed their mind and i found the same kind of church but much closer to my house.... Two years i was fighting myself... while all i needed is to surrender all to God and let Him work on it... It seems so strange and contradictory .... Just like in the song Misty Edwards "Cause it's the inside outside upside down kingdom Where you lose to gain and you die to live " But everything is made by God and I definitely like the way He created all these! I love His kingdom!
And now I'm 9 years old Christian!!! And that girl no is my closest friend and precious sister in Christ!
