My story with God

I have been in church all of my life. However I can't honestly say that I have always followed the ways of God. I began singing in the choir at a very very young age. I think I was about 6 or 7 maybe 8 when I first sang. I knew early on that music made me happy. God gave be the gift of singing and I use it constantly but not with a completely surrendered heart. For years I have been struggling to stay on course. The due mostly because of a low self esteem which begin when I was about 8 or 9 years old. looking back I realize God was right there with me. No matter what I got myself into trying to fit in God recused me out of those dangerous situations that were formed to destroy me. I As an adult I still struggle with trying to be accepted by people. But today I am asking God to change my thought process as it relates to pleasing people. The only one I want to please is God. to do this I know that I must study his word and pray daily. I this day commit myself to God and give him full control. The journey has been long getting here but I am finnal taking a step I should have taken years ago and kicking hidden sin out of my life. I totally want to follow God and him only.
