The new stream I handbuilt to and from pond

The new stream I hand-built with a shovel and rake in June & July 2011 from cliff wall waterfall pool to future pond west end and then from pond east end to county drainage ditch by Purcell road. Both sections are about 100 feet long, 2 feet wide, 2-4 inches deep with occasional 6 inch pools with a local gravel bottom and occasional larger rocks. Collected snails, salamanders and minnows from local creeks by hand to stock it and planted various native shrubs and plants removed from pond site along with planting wildflower seeds (Sept 2011)
