I'm here to...
Strengthen my relationship with God and lern how to be a disciple of God
Interests:
God- Until mid 2008 my relationship with Him has been one of turning to Him when i did not have another plan. Now i am working at Him being at the centre of my life all the time

Pets- I love animals especially dogs because i believe since God gave us the mandate to take care of them, we must all take that very seriously.

Vegetarianism- In 2007 i attended the Earthnotes Film Festival and after seeing what mankind is doing to the planet that God gave us to take care of, i decided it was my ethical duty to stop supporting industries that disregard the rights of animals. So i have been a vegetarian since then. I have just recently been very interested in veganism and im trying it out for some months in 2009

Politics- This has been in my family for a long time and i find myself interested in the way our countries are run. I would say i border very thinly on conservatism and liberalism.

Environment- My love for the environment is great. I believe that only we as humans can change the mess we are continually putting ourselves in by not taking care of the natural environment. But i like to include the social and cultural aspects when i talk about the enviornment because we, humans, are at the centre of the problem and only we can come up with the solutions to them.

Volunteering- Because of my passion for the enviornment, i like to work with people who are proactively seeking solutions to the environmental problems we are faced with.
I'm passionate about...
Helping others- And i believe in little differences we can make into people's lives. Things like a smile....

Family- They have brought me where i am today and i love to spend time with them whenever i can.

and of course the environment....
My story with God
I grew up in strict catholic home and my parents set a very good example about the importance of going to Sunday mass and i remember my dad asking us if we had understood the sermons of the day. But apart from these Sundays, we really didnt have a platform where we talked about God at home.

I accepted God as my personal saviour on 29-07-2008 and i think it is the greatest choice i have ever made in my life. I have always known He was part of me and always turned to Him only when i could not do it by myself and He has always been there for me and answered my prayers. I even turned to Him to help me control my weight and He is continously doing so. I have had my ups and sowns in the journey since then but i always find myself going back to God
Other stuff about me:
Im the first born of 3 siblings, originally from Kenya and live with my sister in South Africa while the rest of the family lives in Kenya. I love to travel and experiemnet with food

PLEASE KEEP ON PRAYING FOR THE UNSAVED AND SINNING ONES ALL OVER THE WORLD BECAUSE JESUS IS COMING SOONEST. JBY

Please do keep on praying for the request of mine down below, and I know I can count on you to do it:

Please "WIN the 10/40 WINDOWS" for JESUS CHRIST.
The 10/40 Windows (located between 10 - 40 degrees North of Equator - between West Africa to East Asia) need Missionaries, have no church at all, and there live about 40 percent of the world population. INDONESIA, my country is in the 10-40 windows though we have churches. Please also pray for ISRAEL and all over the world. Let's get on our knees, praying hand in hand with me for their revival. I look forward to the day when the Lord who I kneel to worship will be recognized by all the living and the dead as the One True Lord.

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:2

A message was given recently in which Jesus said, the mansion I went to prepare for you is now finished. All is ready for Me to bring My people home.

With much love in Christ: Christy Gabriel B

12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
    Col 1:9
    9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
When Paul observed the church at Colosse, he saw their faith, he saw their love and their hope, yet he noted that they lacked in knowledge of what to do and how to move on in Christ. They were different than the church at Corinth who had a lot of talent and were enriched with knowledge. So Paul began to pray this prayer for them because he knew that ignorance of God's will is a constant source of error and heartache. If your mind is not full of God's will it could be that it is full of things not of God, it could be that there are empty places in your mind that would invite Satan to come and fill. Colosse would go through much tribulation without the knowledge of God's will in their minds, whether it be by their own thinking or by the attack of the enemy, Paul understood that he had to do something about this. He could not stay with them forever, so he did what he could; He prayed, and he invited others to pray with him! God is moved by intercessory prayer! When you find yourself surrounded on every side by the enemy, don't hesitate to ask those who really love you to pray for the knowledge of God's will in your life. God will reveal it to you.
It is one thing to have full knowledge of God's will and another to be filled with knowledge. The scripture gives us knowledge of God's will in a corporate fashion. We know what the will of God is for every man and woman. The scripture also states that God is able to do more than we can even think, therefore His will involves more than our minds can comprehend. Our finite minds cannot handle the full knowledge of God's
