I have grown up in a christian family. well when i was about 5 years old my mum and dad became christians. my dad had a dream that the devil was chasing him (i should really call it a nightmare!) anyway dad was trying to protect me when in his dream he stopped and turned to the devil, put his hand into the devil's face and said to him "you cant hurt us God is on our side" and in a flash the devil disappeared into thin air and ever since dad knew that his life was to be lived for God. Then 8 years ago my cousin died in a car accident and i remember my dad a few years earlier talking to him about God and witnessing to him. my cousin told him that he would have plenty of time when he was older and had lived his life before he started thinking about becoming a christian, but a few years later he died and ever since, that conversation with my dad and my cousin has never left my head and i knew then that God decides what happpens in our lives and we have to obey him and not make the decisions for him. I too thought that i would have plenty of time but always felt that the Lord was working so hard in my life to have me as his follower. I knew that going out to clubs was not where he wanted me to be so finally i wised up and admitted that i want to live for God and do whatever he asks of me as he has given me the honor of life and he can easliy take it. i know that when i die i want to live forever with the Lord in heaven knowing that my time on earth i served him and done as he had asked.
