- Quite a few years ago, my mother gave her life to god, but my dad didn't, and this caused alot of friction in their lives, my mother seemed so happy within herself, and it was all due to god, eventually my dad came around, I saw how happy and content my mom was, and I was having alot of problems in my own life, so I started to pray, and I gave my life up to god and said dear god please take my life and guide me, and after that my whole life changed around and each day I get a little closer to god.
