My story with God
I am a born again Christain in 1973. I have rededicated my life to God in 1998,since then God is real to me,though i went through tough times.I pray that i will be a channel of blessings to others..and to be a woman of God!
Hi Dara, it is wonderful that y0u have found the Lord Jesus and pray to Him. Talking with strangers takes courage. The first person I talk with about accepting Jesus was someone I knew. I began by asking him a question. It was "Do you know the meaning of grace?" He gave me a secular answer. I said to him that "yes, this is one meaning of grace, but grace has another meaning. Grace also means a free gift. This gift is eternal life." James 1:17. Another question to ask is; "Do you know what it takes for a person to get to heaven?" Also, "If you were to die tonight and stand before God, and He ask you why should I let you into heaven, what would you say?" "What would you say to God?" It is easier to talk with someone you know about Jesus than it is with a stranger. It is good that you have a desire to talk with and meet new people. Now all you need is some courage to ask a question and began telling people of Jesus love. Rom. 5:5 John 3:16
I pray that God will bless you as you grow in His love. Rudy
Thank you Dara. Another tip is to memorize and practice what you will say. However, if you feel confident that you can tell someone about Jesus and pray with them, memory is not necessary. Once you lead someone to Jesus, you will feel so good and excited. Wait until you have experience and knowledge to talk with a stranger. However, in your culture talking with a stanger about God may be much different than over here. The LORD is good. Nahum 1:7 Rudy
