My story with God
I asked Jesus to forgive my sins and be my Lord and Savior when I was seven years, I am still being raised by loving, godly parents. I went into a bad time in my life after I broke up with my boyfriend (7 1/2 years ago), but counseling has helped with seeing that I cannot stop every hurtful, bad thing from happening, and I must believe God is good no matter the circumstances. Romans 8:28.

    Hello Rita,and welcome!
How are you? It sure is a blessing to have you here.
I cant wait to get to know you more.

This is Paige, another moderator here on TheNet, and Im very blessed to have you join our community of believers, as we grow in the love and wisdom of our Lord . Its soo neat to meet new friends here from all around the world . You will find TheNet a safe place to get to know other believers and share your love and life in Christ.

I really like it here because its a great online source of Christian information, and fellowship. When I find it hard to get out of the house or hard to get to church, I get online and get "filled" with His word and all the other believers and thier prayers. Its soo good to know that when Im hurting there are others that are too and in need of the same love and support I do from the Lord. Praise God for His work on the Cross!!! We are all one body now and can work together to heal and help other members.

Also, Id like to invite you to come over and visit us in the Womens Group where women from all ages and all walks of life come to encourage and be encouraged to help, and be helped, to share thier wisdom with other women , and get prayer that we all need as women to continue in our faith and the path God has set before us all.

I hope to "see" you often and I would love to get to know you more as we walk this faith.
Im your friend, and if I can help or answer any questions for you, Im here.
God Bless you, Rita!!I cant wait to get to know you more.

    Hello again,
I just wanted to add that I understand your pain with losing a love in your life. I wasnt a Christian until 2002 when God basically had to scrape me off the pavement to come to hIm. I had a very bad lifestyle and it was because of what happened to me as a child and alot of loves in my life gone, and broken. I wasnt saved and didnt have God so I got really serious and was intimate real young. I always needed to fill that void in my life. I had a major love deficit for myself so I sought out other guys to fill that instead of even giving God a try. Anyway, long story short, I had a couple boyfriends and eventually fiance's that meant soo much to me but eventually didnt work out anymore. Alot happened that it put me into alot of depression, and hopelessness. I couldnt trust anyone, and felt like no one liked me. I thought I couldnt live without those guys, but God still had His hand on me even though I didnt know HIm because IM alive and well enough to tell my story. I sometimes get sad over the loss of the two loves of my life, but God understands and His love is powerful enough to heal those wounds and take themn away. Sometimes it takes longer because He wants ue to hang on to HIm and keep us humbled. Well it works for me!
Anyway, youre not alone my friend. People have suffered loss of every kind and God knows it. Thank God we have Him. I wouldnt be here without him. Id probably be locked up somewhere depressed and alone.
God Bless you my sister, and IM soo blessed you are here to share your faith with everyone!!!
    Take Care
