My story with God
My spiritual formation began one night when an evangelist came and preached revival. I sensed the greatest need in my life, This God who had orchestrated my life for before my own beginning was calling, I was answering, and I went forward and asked Him to enter my heart. If you have ever know what a slobbering fit is I will tell you they are massive. I did not know a human being could have that much snot produced in such a short frame of time. I don't recall exactly how many boxes of tissues I used, I know it was a lot. I spent several hours at that altar. The life of renewal began. I felt like a new creature, once the mountain of snot ceased flowing from my nose and the great deluge of tears from streaming down my face. The God that found me, carried me, showered me with His Presence was now revealed. The greatest journey begun. So hungry was I for the word of God that I literally soaked the Word of God into my mind and heart. I read it, until it filled all the caverns, the wholes, and the pits that were in my heart and my life. God poured it into my parched soul like a flood, the wasteland that was desolate, became a garden for God's Word. I continued to feast at God's table. I grew, stronger and stronger. Yet, I began to realize there was something I was missing. Even though I read the Word with such an intensity, the more I read the more I found myself needing more. Then one night in another revival service. I went forward and gave God everything that I was, all my fractured self, all my destroyed humanity, all my broken self-esteem. He cleansed my heart; removing the heart of stone, He replaced it with a heart of fire. I was entirely sanctified. Liquid fire of God's love filled my being. God took me and with His Spirit gently put Humpty Dumpty back together again. My spiritual growth took off even more.
