    Thanks Tammy for responding, I kind of had mixed emotions about HOA, not that it isn't good, but I sometimes find that when we do a bible study using the method of going straight through a book of the bible, chapter after chapter, we find places that seem to be kind of uninspiring so to speak, and it is hard to come up with an answer, or comment on that particular portion of scripture, and it seems to leave us there with not much to say.

    I love to do studies based on subjects, rather than consecutive chapters or verses. i.e. Faith, redemption, or all the gifts of the Spirit, or who we are, and what authority the believer has is Christ. I am not a name it and claim it, but appropriating what God has promised to those that believe. I know nothing can be gotten by " true or authentic faith", that hasn't already been provided by God. I could do a lot more explaining this biblically with more time, lol 

     

    If you would like to discuss this further, we can by e-mail if you wish. Rita Gullimore and I used to use e-mail a lot when she had questions. Don't know if you remember her or not on AAG. She died some time ago. let me know yea, or nay. JB

    Hello Tammy, I'm a born again baptised in the Holy Spirit o ear 60yrs woman and have a good relationship with God, I know he loves me and I know he treats us equally and will give us all a chance to repent. We must be careful not to generalise, yes God is not happy when a commandment is broken yet as you know he has allowed this, and it also teaches us discernment. We are to love our neighbors regardless of who and what they are, at every step we must continue to pray for the truth and the Holy Spirit to enter all media staff. When we see an artical which is deceptive we need to pray over it to bring the Holy Spirit truth to be exposed. God sees us individually and corporately and sees how we respond to our circumstances therefor we must be secure in God at all times to be able to stand up against wrong and support those in the truth.
