    hi DeeDee
i responded to your question about after we die, i hope it helps you, if you would like more information or fill in with various scr. let me know, you will get various opinions on different subjects, therefore it is nessary to check what the word of God says on the entire subject, many fall into the trap of just listening to someone preach or a bible scollar say something, and therefore it must be gospel truth, the danger is error can be passed on weather knowingly or unknowingly, therefor the responceblity is ours as God says study to show our selfs approved rightfully dividing the word of God. but I wanted to respond to your statement "i don't have one yet" if you have asked Jesus to come into your heart and to forgive you of your ( lieing, steeling, lusting, anger, etc. sins.) you do have a story to tell others, the lost don't have any freedom, and they don't know what the answer to life is,we do therefore we must tell them, Jesus opened the way back to God through himself, God says he will never leave us, and God is not a man that he should lie, therefore he is always truthful, it is written if we confess our sin he (Jesus) will forgive us, he is not angry with us, his love is beyond our comprehention even when we were dead in sin he loved us, some times God seems silent there can be many reasons some times he is teaching us to trust him, or he may be preparing us for something, example that happened to me, in 1984 God told me to go to bible collage, God spoke one word to me "Prarie" that is Prarie bible in Three Hills Alberta Canada i live in Ontario Canada, about 3000 miles away, stricks against me, grade 12 is required, my education level about grade 5-6 legly grade 8, i did 3 years of gr. 7 never passed they gave me gr.8 to get ride of me did 3/4 gr. 9, 1/2 of gr. 10, and kicked out, on the list of no-nos, have you ever smoked? ans. yes 3 pks. a day ever done boose? yes was an alcolic, ever been in jail? yes 3 times, ever done drugs? yes some, ever been divorced? yes, do you speak in tongues? yes, how will you pay for this? (the amount was aprox. $ 50,000. i wrote "God will provide" i was earning about $6.00 per hr. with a wife and 3 kids i had no money left over, but we were excited, and told many people, but the final door of exceptance didn't open up in 1984 people laughed and ridiculed saying various things such as your stupid, your going to go to collage, with no means to support your family you idiot and God spoke to you ha ha ha, but my wife and i agreed we wouldn't make a move until God opened the door, we waited a full year, God was silent, but in 1985 he opened the final door, we went for 5 yrs. i finished with a B.R.E. degree left collage not owing a penny, God provided mirical after mirical, so be incouraged God loves you, waiting is some times hard, but look at Moses and what God finley did with him.

WOW you have a beautiful home page! Forgive my sillyness, but I thought we were friends already! Of course we can be friends. Besides aren't we sisters anyway?
  • Ginnybee

Hello deedee, I am sorry to hear of your loss. You will remain in my prayers, my friend. Losing the presence of someone we love so much is quite a challenge. I am leaning on the Lord, and I keep reminding myself that one day I will meet my dad again in a place of perfection, where I will never be without him again. Let us keep our eyes on Him who resumes all control and understanding, and loves us more than we can even fathem.
Thank you for your support...you can call on my friendship anytime, as well.
God bless you and your family,
    Glenda

    Hi Dee,

I would like to share today's devotional with you from Oswald Chambers. His devotion book is called 'My Utmost for His Highest'.. see if you can get a copy. Anyhow, here is today's:

The Way to Know - July 27th
"If any man will do His Will, he shall know of the doctrine....."
    John 7:17

The golden rule for understanding spiritually is not intellect, but obedience. If a man wants scientific knowledge, intellectual curiosity is his guide, but if he wants insight into what Jesus Christ teaches, he can only get it by obedience. If things are dark to me, then I may be sure there is something I wil not do. Intellectual darkness comes through ignorance; spiritual darkness comes because of something I do not intend to obey.
No man ever receives a word from God without instantly being put to the test over it. We disobey and then wonder why we don't go on spiritually. "If when you come to the altar," says Jesus, "there you remember your brother hath ought against you.....don't say another word to Me, but first go and put that thing right."
The teaching of Jesus hits us where we live. We cannot stand as humbugs before Him for one second. He educates us down to the scruple. The Spirit of God unearths the spirit of self-vindication; He makes us sensitive to things we never thought of before.
When Jesus brings a thing home by His word, don't shirk it. If you do, you will become a religious humbug. Watch the things you shrug your shoulders over, and you will know why you do not go on spiritually. First go--at the risk of being thought fanatical you must obey what God tells you.

    hi Dee,

I have a few (3) things for you today from my prayer meeting this morning. God is so good...all the time.

1--read the book of Habakkuk. The purpose is to show that God is in control despite the apparent triumph of evil in the world. What can we learn from this? continue to bring everything to God...God will answer us, we must respond with faith in Him and all that He is doing and His promises. Our God is all powerful..and He is a God who cannot lie! He has a plan and He will carry it out. We can be confident that He loves us and He will guard our relationship with Him forever.

2--Isaiah 57:1-2 Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For those who follow godly paths will rest in peace when they die.

3--Read Isaiah 56:1-8...this is a beautiful encouragement and promise.

I hope you are well.. Continue to seek with all your heart...
Love and Blessings in Christ, Carla

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns -- August 20, 2009:

Come away with Me, says the Lord. Deliberately find the place of peace and rest in Me. Life's demands and difficult circumstances have taken more energy than you realize, so you need to hide yourself in the secret place where you can be restored. This will not happen automatically; you must be still in your body and quiet your thoughts and emotions in order to come to the place of restoration and healing. Take the time and come. You will not be disappointed.

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

Hi Dee.. This came in my email today... Also...read Matt 11:28.. did I give you that verse last night? Anyhow, it came up again this morning.
rest in HIM---He will keep you in His perfect peace...His peace which surpasses all understanding! His is HOLDING YOU! AMEN!
  • Carla

Faith....is the evidence of the things we cannot see, and the comfort that God is holding you.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10

I've been praying about how to write to you. I keep getting this..."Tell Adia, that my promises are for her also.. they are for everyone as I have no favourites, she muse simply rest in Me and trust Me and Me alone...there is no other salvation but My Son"

    Much Love in Christ, Carla
