My story with God

I am working on establishing a strong relationship with God. I was raised in a Non-Denominational Christian home, however, at this time I feel that I range more on the spiritual side. I am very open and still very new to this perpetual journey. I realize that I am not going to find the answers I seek at the end of the journey, but rather along the way.

Other stuff about me:

I am searching for friends. I do not go to bars or clubs so I have trouble finding "decent" people to associate with. I recently left an unhealthy relationship and I am learning again how to stand on my own two feet. I am a very open-minded and determined person. I am constantly in self-discovery mode. I believe that we never stop evolving and that the adventure in finding who we are is an adventure we will embark on till death. I try to practice what I preach, however, it does not always work out that way. I also believe in doing unto others as you would have them do unto you. I value honesty, loyalty, compassion, generosity and passion. I am very shy at first, but with time, I am talkative, blunt, and impulsive. In difficult and in challenging situations, I make a conscious effort to do the right thing and be the better person. I can be very pessimistic at times, but I am optimistic that I will change. I also make it a priority to face the things I fear. I do have trouble with that sometimes.
