I'm here to...
Share God's Word and being a better christian.
Interests:
Learning God's Word and sharing with others, being with my family, wildlife conservation, drawing, playing piano, listening to music.
I'm passionate about...
God, Jesus, The Bible, my family, animal and habitat conservation.
My story with God
I accepted Jesus Christ in my heart when I was 8. My Dad was a music director in church when I was little, and my Mom sang in the choir. I am a Christian. I know I need to grow stronger in God everyday.
Other stuff about me:
I love bible study, daily bread. I also sign and make petitions to protect wildlife and their habitats. God put animals in this world for us to protect, not to kill. Poaching and habitat destruction is happening too much, and I feel God has given me an overload of passion to save wildlife, and I am very proud of it. Please visit my group SAVING BIG CATS to sign petitions for animals and habitats http://www.care2.com/c2c/group/SavingBigCats

    Hi Ruth, so glad to hear from you. I've moved to Indonesia to work and no, I am not OK here. I feel like dying spiritually as I am not being fed properly. This place has no Mass administered in English and there's only one Christian service that is in English that I've attempted to attend but I am often scared going back home since at the time the service finishes there are no more public transport available and I am often alone waiting in the street for one as darkness falls. As I've read your comment to my profile here when my email notified me... I got moved to explore the possibility of joining you online for Bible studies. I am very buys here as my work turned out to be more taxing that what I do back in Manila. Yes, got disappointed that it was not the semi-retirement mode I prayed for. But anyway, I am getting by... please let me know how I can join online Bible studies with you. I'll see if my prepaid connection will allow me to. I've supposedly purchased the best prepaid internet broadband here but it still does not allow me to open more than one window/site at a time. Thank you so much Ruth! God bless you and the work you do for HIM! (",)

    BLESSING TO YOU MY BELOVED SISTER AND THANK YOU

  • MYu

    Hi Ruth, I remember joining that group God's Word for the purpose of being able to do Bible study with fellow member. I guess time and slow internet connection have not allowed me to do that. It is great that you are able to do Bible Studies with your daughter. At this point, I am trying some online Bible I used to frequent and read a devotional online too. Yes, one site at a time. (",)  All in God's grace... I'll get my groove back. It is unfortunate that it is extraordinarily hard to have AAG pages download on my screen. I guess there's just too many graphics and images and my connection cannot keep up. Thank you Ruth for keeping me in your thoughts. God bless!

  • MYu

    Thank you for the links Ruth. Our Daily Bread did not load though. I do frequent this devotional... My Utmost for His Highest, and my online Bible for daily verses is BibleGateway.

    I'm glad I have some people here whom I feel are encouraging me in my faith. God's way of keeping me in the fold I suppose. (",)

    Thank you Ruth for the prayer for Debbie Scott. Since my last post. I have word she is stable and talking, but they hadnt opperated yet. Her 2 girls were home and had no way to get to Portland its a 3 hour drive. 1 just got out of college and hasnt found work yet, the other just started a job 3 days ago after not having one for a year.

    A lady showed up at there door this morning and said why are you girls still here. They explaind, she said I will be back in an hour be ready to go. The lady filled there car with gas, booked them a hotel room for a week and gave them $200 to eat with  and said now hit the road.

    The LORD watches over you
    the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
    the sun will not harm you by day,
    nor the moon by night.
    The LORD will keep you from all harm —
    he will watch over your life;

    the LORD will watch over your coming and going
    both now and forevermore. Psalm 121:5,8

    Hello sis Ruth how are you, how is Geni, Lora and Hopey :)

  • Dearheart

    Wow thank God, I'm glad to hear it, when we choose a someone should we have to include God in it, we ask for God's guidance, He will deliver at the right time and the right person . This is my testimony, I used to pray for my husband long before I knew him, and you know what happened, he took my husband to me at the right time and the right man, then what I do is wait patiently and pray. I wait for God's time, not my time .. finally ... everything is beautiful in His time, I pray Geni hopefully get a husband who feared God and loved her daughter and loving her, i believe God has plan for Geni...Amen :)

    Have blessed day dear sister Ruth, Love Linda^^

    When we are FILLED with the Holy Spirit, and evil rumbles totally around us, confronting us.. that LIGHT of the mighty Spirit of God doesn't need us to try to push it higher.. we cannot make it shine brighter.. the darkness around it does that!!! We just BURN ON!!!!!!
    Blessings, Linda^^

    How short is man's life, and uncertain! The flower of the garden is commonly more choice, and will last the longer, for being sheltered by the garden-wall, and the gardener's care; but the flower of the field, to which life is here compared, is not only withering in itself, but exposed to the cold blasts, and liable to be cropped and trod on by the beasts of the field. Such is man. God considers this, and pities him; let him consider it himself. God's mercy is better than life, for it will outlive it. His righteousness, the truth of his promise, shall be unto children's children, who tread in the footsteps of their forefathers' piety. Then shall mercy be preserved to them.
