waking up in the morning - My story with God
- I rejected Christ for18 years, until one morning when I woke, I had an very strong urgency to find God again. This led to finding a Church and a Church Family. I was raised a Catholic, but need more than their ritual and empty sermons. I wanted to be taught about the Bible and the Word of God. I found my place within a Free Methodist Church, where I was accepted unconditionally. After a year of Bible Studies and attending services I was Baptized. My journey never ends as I continue to seek Gods word. I am about to start a new ministry for Battered Women, and the emotionally and sexually abused. God has spoken to me and I will serve my God.
- Other stuff about me:
- I have nineteen grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.All of my children live in Oregon except the youngest. She lives in another State with her two children. And two granddaughters live in Mn. one has a son and another granddaughter lives in eastern Or. with her two sons. But I do get lots of children and grandchildren time.
I love to read and have a few hobbies. I am handicapped because of my car accident, which also caused brain damage My memory and cognitive skills are the most noticeable. I think God spared me for a reason, although I'm now sure what that reason is. My husband has leukemia and his prognosis isn't good. I have been directed by God to love and care for him and show him the way to God's loving arms.
So I live a fairly quiet life here in my valley. We are in the foothills of the Cascade Mts. And God creates spectacular sunrises, sunsets and views of which I will never tire.
I am happy to be joining all here and am sure I will get so much from it.

Hello Susanne, My wife and I live just outside of Boston in a city called Marlborough. Some of my pictures were taken right here near us in "Bolton" MA and "Hudson" MA. The ocean pictures are of Cape Cod. I love the ocean. Always have. Our grandchildren are such a blessing to us. They live close and we try to have them as much as possible.
Your story is pretty incredible and I thank you for being here. God's plan for us is so perfect and our eyes can not see the wonder he has in store for us. I look forward to chatting and sharing the love of Christ with you my dear Sister.

Susanne you are a wonderful lady, and remember God looks on the inside and that is what really matters. I am sure your grandchildren love you just the way you are. They see your smile and twinkling eyes and the arms out stretched to hug them.
God certainly has not finished with you yet, I am sure He has work for you to do for Him. Praying is a great ministry love. Can I ask you to pray for a young man you have contacted me tonight on another Christian site.
He is a solider and has to face a hearing next Thursday on a fraud charge. He says he is has nothing nothing wrong and is very frightened. He has no family support and so needs loving friends. I do not know what faith he has, but I do see his need. Will you pray for him please? Thank you, God Bless x

Good Morning Susannah, the soliders name is Mike. Your prayers would be appreciated, thank you. Can I also ask you to pray for a baby called Reece, his mother is a drug addict and Reece is in ICU since his birth 3 months ago, his lungs are nor properly formed and he is fighting for his life.
