Learning God's Word and sharing with others, being with my family, wildlife conservation, drawing, playing piano, listening to music.
I'm passionate about...
God, Jesus, The Bible, my family, animal and habitat conservation.
My story with God
I accepted Jesus Christ in my heart when I was 8. My Dad was a music director in church when I was little, and my Mom sang in the choir. I am a Christian. I know I need to grow stronger in God everyday.
Other stuff about me:
I love bible study, daily bread. I also sign and make petitions to protect wildlife and their habitats. God put animals in this world for us to protect, not to kill. Poaching and habitat destruction is happening too much, and I feel God has given me an overload of passion to save wildlife, and I am very proud of it. Please visit my group SAVING BIG CATS to sign petitions for animals and habitats http://www.care2.com/c2c/group/SavingBigCats
A fox who lived in the deep forest of long ago had lost its front legs. No one knew how: perhaps escaping from a trap. A man who lived on the edge of the forest , seeing the fox from time to time, wondered how in the world it managed to get its food. One day when the fox was not far from him he had to hide himself quickly because a tiger was approaching. The tiger had fresh game in its claws. Lying down on the ground, it ate its fill, leaving the rest for the fox.
Again the next day the great Provider of this world sent provisions to the fox by this same tiger. The man began to think: "If this fox is taken care of in this mysterious way, its food sent by some unseen Higher Power, why don't I just rest in a corner and have my daily meal provided for me?"
Because he had a lot of faith, he let the days pass, waiting for food. Nothing happened. He just went on losing weight and strength until he was nearly a skeleton. Close to losing consciousness, he heard a Voice which said: "O you, who have mistaken the way, see now the Truth! You should have followed the example of that tiger instead of imitating the disabled fox."
Reflection Questions
In what ways do you feel like the disabled fox?
In what ways do you feel like the tiger?
Who is the "Voice" in this story?
Is it okay for the disabled fox to continue living, or would it be better off either dead or never alive in the first place?
Are there any people in your life who are like the disabled fox, but you wish they were more like the tiger?
Greetings may you be Blessed Psa 150:6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD! God Bless you in all you do lovingkindness Christopher
Not all optimists are believers. And not all believers are optimists. But the optimistic believer is a dynamite duo.
Think about a perpetual optimist you know. (Perhaps it’s you!) When confronted with a challenge, a bold smile and a cheery word are their natural response. They do not possess the ability to mumble and they do not know the meaning of despair. Their shoulders are buoyant without burden and their voices are as sing-song bright as a bird’s delight.
Do you know a person of rock-solid faith? These people are firm. Steady. Immovable. Their goal is not to prove themselves to the world, but rather to take the world as it comes, living for an “audience of One.” Their faith is not for show, but when it does emerge, it humbly calls for company. Doubters and skeptics are helplessly attracted to the pure peace they radiate.
When is an optimist not a believer? When she looks at the bright side of life but refuses to acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. She is a poster child for secular self-help books and articles about changing your life through “the power of positive thinking.”
When is a believer not an optimist? When he has entrusted himself to Jesus Christ but continues to respond to life’s challenges with fear, anxiety, and doubt. He has not let his faith out of its small, Sunday-sized box or let it permeate every nook and cranny of daily, real life.
The optimistic believer, however, is a joyful combination of a deeply rooted faith that shows itself in a spirited, lighthearted approach to even the most trying circumstances. It’s not fake. It’s not shallow. It is a tangible faith that is completely confident in what is hoped for and assured of what is not seen (Hebrews 11:1). This is the person who says with confidence, “‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?’” (Hebrews 13:6).
I encourage you: be an optimistic believer. Let Christ have the victory in your life. And “do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded” (Hebrews 10:35).
I heard the voice of the Good SHEPHERD and know His voice. I LIVE in daily expectation of ABUNDANCE and PROSPERITY for my life.
I Sow BOUNTIFULLY, therefore I Reap BOUNTIFULLY. MONEY and FINANCIAL FREEDOM cometh to me now,FREQUENTLY and EASILY in the name of JESUS.
I am receiving all of my needs met accordingly to His riches in GLORY by CHRIST. ... The LORD is blessing me with His UNENDING, EXHAUSTLESS, FATHOMLESS riches. He adds no sorrow in it , neither does toiling increase it. I do not WORK for my INHERITANCE, I just received it.
I am Strong in FAITH, and I am fully persuaded that what HE promised, HE is also ABLE TO PERFORM.
I LOVE YOU MY SISTER AND WE ARE A BLESSING TO EACH OTHER WITH MUCH LOVE YOUR BROTHER THROUGH CHRIST JESUS ,MAY HIS SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS BE MIGHTY EACH AND EVERYDAY
I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten. Joel 2:25 KJV Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Psalm 51:12 NKJV "For I will restore health to you And heal you of your wounds," says the LORD. Jeremiah 30:17 NKJV
Restore means that God brings back and gives to us again what was once taken from us or lost to us. God assures us that what was lost can be found, what has ended can begin again, and what is no longer seen can be brought back into view. He can restore a broken relationship, lost health, a lost blessing, a broken heart, a former ministry, or a former joy.
A Prayer for the Brokenhearted Father of the brokenhearted daughter... Oh, hear our prayer...
Give Your daughter the wisdom to know it: ... Hiding when you're hurting won't heal you and growing isolated can just let infection grow.
Give Your daughter the love to live it: The secret way to heal a broken heart is to let love leak out like an ocean through all the cracks.
The best way to tend to your open wounds is to open your arms... When you have Jesus on the inside, you're never on the outside... When Love's got hold of you, there isn't a lie in the universe that can pull you apart.
And may all her trials be but a trail, all the stones on the way be but grace stairs to God. In name of Jesus who broke His heart to heal ours...Amen.
God Will See You Through Sometimes it's hard to see through our tears.
But even when we can't see, God has promised to be there- loving us, strengthening us, giving us what we need to face each day.
No matter what happens God will hold you close and see you through because you are so precious to Him.
God cards, cares right down to the last detail. James 5:11 The Message
Hello my beloved sister Ruth, thank you so much for your beautiful message, I really appreciate what you are doing for me and here, God is your re-warder, and He knows how to do so, I love you in HIM.
In the name of JESUS and through the Blood of JESUS CHRIST, I say to the enemy :
I command all evil spirits in my life and in the lives on my loved ones that are causing discomfort and diseases in our bodies, cloudiness and confusions in our minds, and any evil force that is blocking or hindering the free flow of the GLORY OF GOD in our lives, let it be thou removed and be thou casr into the sea, according to the instructions from JESUS. MATTHEW 21:21
God BLess my sister my beloved thankyou for your message it is so up lifting each time I hear from you my lovingkindness I give to you God Bless you richly
I feel your sorrow. I have asked a few of my other prayer partners to intercede for your daughter and grandchildren. The pain of loss can be cruel, but peace and restoration comes through Jesus. May He fill you with peace and joy as you see Him at work in your daughter.
Dear Ruth...I'm glad we're friends too! Your daughter and grandchildren should have safely arrived by now. Much love and hugs for all! Here is a part of my devotional this morning. I think it is meant for Genevieve! "David said, 'Magnify the Lord with me!' A magnifying glass makes things look bigger! Praise is a magnifying glass that will make God bigger and bigger in your life. Bigger than sickness! Bigger than unemployment! Bigger than divorce! Bigger than habits. Job said, 'God hung the earth on a foundation where there was none.' Imagine that! You can't hang your hat on 'nothing'! But God takes nothing and makes it something, and then takes something and hangs it on nothing! Our God is big enough to run the universe but small enough to live within our hearts. Fortified with that knowledge there is nothing you cannot face today. Say it again! There is nothing too hard for You, Lord!"
How blessed we are to have God and His Word to lean on...knowing all will be well, according to His Will and purpose. Hallelujah!
Know that my partners and I will always be praying along with you and Genevieve. Through you and the Holy Spirit working in you, she will begin to see the glass as half full rather than half empty.
