I have read 1 John also. Very powerful, and guides in the way of being a stronger christian. God is the light, and love. James is one of my favorite books.

I wonder what is happening with this site once in a while. I haven't had any problems yet. Knock on wood. Thank you for the red ribbon.

I am so elated you are trying the 21-day challenge. I haven't read all of John yet. This Book really teaches the right path with the Lord. I don't know how or where I will pass out the Food For Your Soul booklets, and witness to others about God's message in John. I would love any suggestions. We can help each other on our blessed path. God's Living Water purifies us. I am so elated about you reading the Bible, and learning everyday, how to live a christian life, and in faith let God guide you in your life. God understands when you need to do other things like study for school. I pray you, and your sis will find time for bible study. I have been reading the first chapter of John, studying each verse with my study bible to understand the verses more, and learn from them. I am going to use my notes to witness to others along with the Food For Your Soul pocket book to pass out to them. I'm not use to going up to strangers, and start talking with them. I pray to God to show me the way and path to bringing others to Him. I will look at chapter 10. God will prepare for us. You are in my prayers. God bless you. Love, RuthXO

I am so happy you got a study bible. It is so helpful to understand better, which God really wants us to. I am the same way having to read several times to get the meaning. I still haven't gone out yet to pass out the book of John pocket books. I have been carrying a couple in my purse, so every time I go out, I will be ready. I wrote notes on the sides and bottom of some of the pages so I can quote a verse(s), then tell them why it is so important for their souls. I don't know why I haven't done it yet. What blessed news of you finishing the book of John. I am still reading chapter 1. Trying to soak it in, and understand it to learn more. Any lessons to pass along to me from John? So many ways to stay strong in God. My Mom told me recently about Colossians, and how it teaches you even more of how to be a better Christian. Maybe you can read Colossians next. It is 4 chapters long. I have never been one to read a lot, but I know the Bible we need to know more. Pray for me to sit down with the Good Book more often, and concentrate only on God. So wonderful you are reading Colossians now. Interesting about four books written by Paul. What are the other two? I'll do the same in reading those after Colossians. I did read some of the first chapter of Colossians after my Mom told me. I am Learning more in John writing notes in my notebook writing the verse or verses, and what the study bible says about the verse. Paul was so dedicated in telling others about Jesus. I want to be like that more and more. Still haven't passed out the Pocket Testament booklets. Thank you Sara, for your prayers for me to concentrate more. Pray for me that God will lift me up to reach out to others.

Very interesting the end of John is what The Passion of Jesus Christ is about. So powerful. I saw this movie so long ago. I remember the impact.
