Father I thank You in the name of Jesus for all that you are doing for my family. I thank You that Your promises are ye and amen, and that "You know the thoughts that You have toward us, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope". I pray that You will "bless us indeed, and enlarge our territory, that Your hand would be with us, and that you would keep us from evil, that we may not cause pain". Lord I thank You that Your word is True, and that "Your not a man that You could lie". Lord I thank you for becoming poor that we might be rich. I thank You that words says that "You will open to us Your good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to our land in its season; and to bless all the work of our hands. I thank You that You are making us lenders to many nations, and that we should not borrow. for making us the head and not the tail, and putting us above and not beneath, that we are blessed in the city and blessed in the fields, that we are blessed in our coming in and our going out". In the name of Jesus I thank You that you watch over Your word to perform it; so I pray that "Your kingdom come Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us of our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Do not lead us in to temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and glory forever Amen". Lord we are in agreement with Your word and we bind the hands that withhold everything that you have for us , and we loose and call forth the release of every blessing that You have for this family to come in Jesus name. We thank You now for blessing us according to Your Riches and Glory in Jesus name we pray Amen.

“Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold to that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
I love watching a good game of football! I like to see both teams perform well on defense and offence. What I like most of all is watching the two quarterbacks, to see which will prevail through the different challenges they face. It’s often said that “The team that makes the most turnovers looses the game!“. I remember watching a game on a Monday night. It was the Dallas Cowboys verses Buffalo Bills. Dallas had struggled all night long, mainly because of the play of their quarterback. He had four or more turnovers by himself. I couldn’t believe that he stayed in the game! I wonder what was going through his mind. He alone was the reason why the team was loosing. As a coach, what could you say to the team, knowing that one player was the cause of their problems? Even after all the mistakes he had made, they still had a chance to win! He led his team in a drive that put them field goal range with very little time left on the clock. All night, the Bills had been in control. It looked like they would surely win. The field goal kicker comes in and splits the uprights with the winning goal. One of the press members came up to interview Dallas’s quarterback. The first question asked was, “What was going through your mind after making all those turnovers?” His response was that he knew that he had to forget about all his mistakes. After all, one of the key ingredients of a good quarterback is “to have a short memory“!
Sometime we have to look at life through the eyes of good quarterbacks. Although we make some mistakes or sometimes things just don’t go our way, much like Paul writes about in this passage; He says the one thing he does, is he ”Forgets the things that are behind him“. You have to know that there is nothing you can do about your past to change it, and the only thing your past does for you is keep you from what God has for you in your future! Remember that God says, “He knows the thoughts that He thinks toward you, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope“ (Jeremiah 29:11). As 2008 comes to a close, I believe that God wants us to forget the bad times, and leave them in 2008!. We should look forward to the New Year! Lets close this year out with a “yet praise” in the presence of God, knowing that “In His presence there is fullness of joy, and on his right hand are pleasures forevermore“. You may ask yourself, “How do I get there? What can I do to help this process?” In the book of Exodus Moses leads the children of Israel into a place called Marah; “They couldn’t drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter“. Verse 24 says, “The people complained against Moses saying, “What shall we drink?”” Verse 25, “Moses cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet.” Sometime we have to “put something in” to change our circumstances! Look for the one thing that you always have available to you ,“Your ability to praise!“. As we close this year out, let it be in “praise and worship” into the New Year!
P.S. Sometimes we unconsciously stay on the same page for much too long. Turn the page and you will discover that in the end “you win“. God loves you!

My state is very small also In the United States. It is very cold here in the winter with lots of snow and ice from November to April. I attend a small old brick church with about 100 members. The picture above is my church that is 200 years old Called the Brick Church.
I know that God will meet all of your needs for school. He will make a way where there seems to be no way. God has a destiny for you and each day is an opportunity for you to realize that destiny in simple steps of obedience. Ask for the direction of the Lord in all your decisions and he will show you a way that will lead to peace and blessing for you. Life for us all can be hard at times and we can be in many troubles, but the troubles do not have to be in us as Christians. We are in the world but we are not of the world. Read my blog on my page; Living in the eye of the Storm a Psalm 91 life.
I am praying for you. Here is a Scripture passage I felt to share with you: Psalms 62:5-8:
5: My soul, wait silently for God alone, For my expectation is from Him.
6: He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved.
7: In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God.
8: Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.
