Yeah im a legal assistant, i like the job but to be honest its not really wat i see myself doing 5yrs from now, i cant say exactly wat i will be doing but i will leave that in God's hands... i would love for a more people oriented job, where i can help others... i went to college and took up sociology and i love it.. and im hoping to one day to be out there helping others......

Sorry to hear about your parents, sure that was a very tough time for you, but YES thank God they both accepted the Lord as their savior before passing, im sure that put ease and comfort in your heart, just knowing that they are no longer suffering and are seated right next to our wonderful FATHER AND BROTHER..... AMEN! I totally feel where u are coming from as i am the only one who accepted the Lord as my Savior in my family and i know God will use me to bring the others unto him. I was saved a few years ago but i never really took it seriously until very recently and till this very day im struggling with worldy things and desires. I didnt grow up in a home that knew God, and i grew up i always knew there was a God, and as i became a woman i always felt a presence in my life, something that always kept me safe and away from alot of things. Yes i;ve done alot of things but it could have been so much worse, that presence always kept me from all that, and it wasnt until recently that i discovered that this presence was GOD all along..... such a wonderful feeling. I went to church this past sunday for the first time in a very long time and it was such an awesome experience. Although my walk is very new, God has definetly taken me to a new place in my life, i could look back and saw thank u Lord for delivering me from this and that and although i have much more ahead of me, im past where i was and I PRAISE HIM FOR THAT. As to my hubby im praying for his salvation, he is a good guy and he believes in God but i need him to accept the Lord as his Savior and be the man God wants him to be to me and our children.

Awww wow married for 25yrs..... that is so wonderful, thank God. YES Fashion is my thing, high five to use there.... and NYC is huge on fashion.. its great to see how things and ppl are so different but yet so funky, love it.......

As to my venture with the Youth Group, im praying for that and for God to show me the way.....

Yes we sure do have alot in common, its so exciting to speak to someone who u can share and relate so much with.. God neva fails, he knew exactly wat he was doing when he bought us both to this site...Amen! I was never a church goer... i felt like i could learn on my own, i have a bible, i have tons of books, i watch Joyce Meyer everyday (by the way i LOVE HER)... but i know in my heart i need more, i need to hear the WORD, be around other believers.... more so cause i really dont know anything about his WORD other then that i love him. I also want to find a home church and im praying on it, you should do the same sweetie i KNOW God will lead us in the right path, to a church where we can feel his presence and grow and develop in him. The church i went to this past weekend is a good church but i feel its far from where i live, i will try to get there every Sunday until God leads me to another church, if that's in his Will for me. I tried to read the bible like you're doing but i find it so difficult to understand, and sometimes i get alittle frustrated like huh what are they talking about, i even have this one year devotional that guides you but even still i have difficulty. Also i have a hard time praying, like i find myself stuck at times and that frustrates me too but i do pray most often silently and in my mind.,.... but i want to praise him LOUD i just cant do it just yet..... God knows our hearts, what we struggle with, and everything else, but mostly importanly he knows our hearts and i KNOW he is gonna give me the break through i need, i just have to be patient and pray the best way i know how and continue to read and gain knowledge. I will definitely keep you in my prayers. You know that is just plain ole horrible to hear about how nasty so called Christians could really be, like you say you love God and do all these things but yet you gossip, you lie and u hurt other people.. its like what is truly wrong with this picture, im really sad that you been hurt by other so called Christian people but forgive them, i know that is hard but trust me do it let God deal with them, its to heavy a load for us to carry and it hinders our growth in him. From what i have read, God dislikes MEAN people but more so a Christian because we suppose to know better. So Sweetie, its hard but FORGIVE THOSE People, let GOD handle it... we are way to blessed to be stressed...hugs to you sweetie pie.... This is so silly. Shari found a mouse in our backyard and brought it inside. We have four cats and a dog and now a mouse. It's not feeling so well, but I'm confident it wouldn't have survived without all the love it's getting. They have it in a box upstairs, and they're nursing it back to health. I know they're praying for it. Would you please pray for the mouse. I'm confident it's never had such a good life. Thank you. :-) I love you.

Thank you so much Betty I know God is faithful and he will provide it is for a reason that I got laid off from my job. I have grown closer to him at this time when some would say why Lord do you allow this to happen. But its times like this that we need to draw closer. That's a pet peeve of mine when believers get their heart broken. Christians have almost forgotten how to treat each other as far as boyfriend/girlfriend. Recently I've noticed harsh break ups amongst Christian boyfriend/girlfriend, two last year. To me it's abusive and a crying shame.

Sorry about the soapbox. I don't mean to. I just feel so strongly about it. I will pray for Johnray.

A friend of mine was engaged. He used their engagement to get his way. Anything she disagreed with, the engagement was off. She was a nervous wreck. I finally had to take her by the hands and say girlfriend he doesn't love you. He never did. They were constantly fighting. I'm like...God do I have to say these words? These were the last words I wanted to say to her. An engagement should be a time of joy. I know those words burnt in her heart. I posed this question...Since marriage is an example of the mystery (Christ in you and the one body) is this what you want your marriage to say to the other believers? She said, "No." So thinking it through, then something has to change in the relationship or you just aren't right for each other.

I've had two instances last year where I had to do that. I don't know what this year will bring. I don't want to promote couples breaking up, but the relationships were already broken. I just delivered God's message.
