My story with God: I have lost loved ones through cancer, suicide and murder but the Lord has surrounded me with His love and peace and through this all has made me stronger in Him. I am filled with the joy of the Lord and although we can lose our happiness for awhile, once we have God's joy, it is with us forever. Hallelujah! I want everyone I know to be filled with this joy, which passes all understanding.
Other stuff about me:: Am on fire for the Lord and just want to spend as much time as I can telling others about Jesus. I am studying towards my Degree in Theology and what a revelation when you study the Bible personally and get illumination first hand. God is faithfull and true and when He says if we seek Him with all our hearts, we will find Him - He means it! Praise God that He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Hi Lynor. I grew up in South Africa and I have been living in the UK for 8yrs now. My family all live in Pretoria and I hear a lot of horror stories from there. Praise God that there are many South Africans who have a heart to follow the Lord Jesus and as believers we know that only God can heal the land. you are in my prayers too. God bless.

Hi Lynor,

I'm from South Africa but I'm living in the UK for the moment. I miss South Africa very much and it will always be home to me. I agree with you that God has might plans for South Africa. It is a great country despite all of it's problems full of many God-fearing Christians of all colours.

I'm hoping to go back at the end of next year and I can't wait. I'm from a small town about 2 hours from Joburg called Kriel (now called Gnala I think).

I bet the weather there is lovely at moment.

Thanks alot for inviting me to be your friend.Thanks to our Lord for the give of life and good health that we enjoy each and every day.Iam a Levy inspector with the ministry of tourism and the Lord is walking with me in this taxing work.you know how it is with most of our gorvenments but the Lord is giving me the courage and strength to stand for what is right..we make enemies and some people feel we are not assisting them enought.....but..we must work and do the right things in the eyes of our Lord.its challenging but we must stand and be counted.may God bless you as we continue this journey with all my brothers and sisters in Christ..and thanks for your prayers..

Thank you for responding. It is good to see South Africans on this site. I share your vision for SA. I could not easily leave this beautiful country to go elsewhere. I firmly believe God has a plan here and we need to be His hands and feet. We need to share our trials and testimonies and walk in His will for our lives. I stay in Ruimsig, Roodepoort and work in Rosebank. I wake up in anticipation as to what God's plan is for every day.

Thanks Lynor for your encouraging words of spiritual wisdom and the much desired for prayers..We are having a problem which only God will solve.But we will play our part in prayer and fasting for this nation and trust that God will provide the much needed peace.I had travelled up-country for some two weeks now the reason why i have not communicated.But the Lord as safeguarded us and we thank Him for being there for us.Be blessed and continue praying for us.

Hello there!!
I saw what you said on the Womens page about your decision to leave your husband for the Lord. All I can say is wow. Alot of women wouldnt do that. My husband isnt saved, however he is very supportive of my faith and encourages me in continuing so. I couldnt do it without his support. I truly believe that God works through people to get to people and I strongly feel that God gets to me through my husband. He can do anything through anyone. He is God! I truly think what you have done amazes me. I wish I was that bold in my faith. I also have to say that your husband was Gods child too and God could and still can change him and mold him into the man He wants him to be. Know what I mean? There is hope for all of us, and I believe that there is for your ex hubby. I am soo glad that your life is blessed and I think its soo cool how much you love our God.
