    Bill,

This is Greg, TheNET coordinator. Welcome to AllAboutGOD.net, we are thrilled you are here and thanks for joining.

Feel free to start your own group about some of the areas of interests. I see we share some common ones like history, camping, military history, etc. I'm sure you'll find others to join you. I hope you make lots of good friends here who are also followers of Jesus.

Let me know what questions you have and be sure to check out the Links for Growth Forum and the Genesis Group to help you grow in Christ.

    Glad you are here!

Hey ya all Bill, I thought at first it was a place where people used pseudonyms, or stage names. Maybe I'll rename myself to, hmm, Pete.
    Tanks fer yer welcome.
  • Peter

No offense whatsoever Bill, I just realized others used their real names. I see you're a machine operator. I was machine maintenance (electronics) at McDonnell Douglas. Those things can have a mind of there own, right! Maybe that's what God says about us.
Take care, have a good day......... Peter

    bill,
the fibro in fibro chick, is fibromyalgia i suffer greatly from fibromyalgia. however i can still work because by the grace of god i was able to find a doctor who believes me and believes in fibromyalgia. i am originally from ny, now moved into north crolina, my husband however has been all over this country when he was in the marines,. but he was born in hazard kentucky, grew up in idiana. spent most of his ault life in two other broken marriages in oklahoma. then he moved to nc as to where we met.so hubby is from kentucky how ever people in of from usually have been pretty well modernized for the exception of your rednexks, which describes my husband to a tee. so i am guessing thats why he likes that kind of old bluegrass music. are you a rednec?
    erll may god bless

    Hi Bill,

Trusting you are fine and pushing on well with Gods work.
Tried to check the Net just to get atleast a Hi from you but all in vain .
Hope you well Big brother..If you are not get well soon in Jesus name.
    Missing to hear from you.

    Regards
    Mariam.

    Hi Bill,
Praise God,theres no need to apologise dear.
Nice to hear from you so soon.
AM REALLY SORRY ABOUT THE SITUATION OF YOUR
SON HOPE THIS WORKS FOR YOU ON TOP OF PRAYERS.

Make him your personal friend, there should be open communication
between you and your son, this gives him confidence in you,it also
allows him freedom to ask anything thats bothering him.Just allow him
the opportunity to trust you as a father and it will give a chance to
express his emotional problems. This will give him a chance to
    tell you his emotional problems.

I also believe the closer you are to your children it becomes more
easier for you to mould them.Maintain a close link with the boy,may
be he behaves the way he does because he thinks no body loves,
cares or no one has confidence in him at home.

May be he thinks you give more attention to the others than him
I had such feelings at 11yrs,problems started when mum got another
kid,i thought she loved and gave him more attention than me,one day
i pulled her ears and they turn red, well i felt relieved and in turn mum
disciplined me and later talked to me and even explained to me why
she had to punish me,some how i realised my emotions were confused.

Psychologists say; rebellion in teenagers is often symbolic they are struggling
to look grown up and impress their friends. If parents disapprove ,it often makes
their behaviour worse & conflicts are common. They defy adults restrictions
deliberately as away of asserting their independence.Remember he is a little
adult who wants to discuss and be talked to other than being ordered around.
You can also counsel him with a close christian friend.

Have never read that book, will try to search for it may be in Aristoc book store,
i trust i will get it..let you know when i land on it.

Sorry i was too wordy..Love you all,and my prayers for you always.
    God bless you Bill.

    Mariam.
are as a result of the gap between parents and their children.
Atleast spare some time for him, have a walk, meals and pray together,

Bill, Just stopping by to say, HI. Hope all is well with you today!

    Hello Bill!
I'm thankful with the Lord to have another friend in this site. Here in the Philippines is so hot. The weather is unpredictable. News here, another scandal for the family of our President. Please include the Philippines in your prayers. The poor families like us suffer most with the problem of corruption.
I hope you will continue searching the Lord as your personal Lord and savior.
God bless you and your family!..

Hi Brother Bill and thank you for your comment! yes this is a wonderful place to make friends and fellowship with one another! This is the best place I have ever found on the net. One that is true in heart. and true in the Lord Jesus.
Thank you for the comment about my GramMother.. it is hard that she is not here with me but at the same time I am gald she is not suffering anymore! cause when she was here she sure suffered alot..I took care of her in the last year and a half. And I can remember her telling me that she just wanted to die. I also remember praying to the Lord to take her if it was His will... to take her fast.. and He did. He showed great mercy on her. So i thank the Lord.. for that. But the pain of her not being here is very hurtful. I can not wait until that day I too have gone home to see my Lord and Savior and my GramMother. God bless you and love in Jesus.

    Sister Janet.

hi bill. here's a joke i got from the AAG forum to cheer you up-

    BIGGER TURKEY-
A woman walks into a butcher's shop just before closing time and asks, "Do you have any turkey?"

The butcher opens his fridge, takes out his only turkey and puts it on the weighing scales. It weighs six pounds.

The woman looks at the turkey and at the scales and asks, "Do you have one that's a bit bigger than this one, please?" The butcher puts the turkey back into the fridge and then takes it out again, but this time when he puts it on the scales he keeps his thumb on the turkey. The scales now show eight pounds.

"That's wonderful," says the woman. "I'll take both of them, please!"

    (Ha ha ha.... gotcha butcher!)
