a day, so they can afford their empty lifestyles."

offer no escape from the pressures of work!"

"Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear
that still, small voice."

"Entice them to play the radio or cassette player
whenever they drive." To keep the TV, VCR, CDs and
their PCs going constantly in their home and see to
it that every store and restaurant in the world
plays non-biblical music constantly."

"This will jam their minds and break that union with
Christ."

"Fill the coffee tables with magazines and
newspapers."

"Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day."

"Invade their driving moments with billboards."

"Flood their mailboxes with junk mail, mail order
catalogs, sweepstakes, and every kind of newsletter
and promotional offering free products, services and
false hopes.."

"Keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and
TV so their husbands will believe that outward
beauty is what's important, and they'll become
dissatisfied with their wives. "

"Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at
night."

"Give them headaches too! "

"If they don't give their husbands the love they
need, they will begin to look elsewhere."

"That will fragment their families quickly!"

"Give them Santa Claus to distract them from
teaching their children the real meaning of

his resurrection and power over sin and death."

It was quite a plan!

The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing
Christians everywhere to get busier and more rushed,
going here and there.

Having little time for their God or their families.

Having no time to tell others about the power of
Jesus to change lives.

I guess the question is, has the devil been
successful in his schemes?

Many years ago in St. Louis, a lawyer visited a Christian to transact some business. Before the two parted, his client said to him, "I've often wanted to ask you a question, but I've been afraid to do so." "What do you want to know?" asked the lawyer. The man replied, "I've wondered why you're not a Christian." The man hung his head, "I know enough about the Bible to realize that it says no drunkard can enter the kingdom of God; and you know my weakness!" "You're avoiding my question," continued the believer. "Well, truthfully, I can't recall anyone ever explaining how to become a Christian." Picking up a Bible, the client read some passages showing that all are under condemnation, but that Christ came to save the lost by dying on the cross for their sins. "By receiving Him as your Substitute and Redeemer," he said, "you can be forgiven. If you're willing to receive Jesus, let's pray together." The lawyer agreed, and when it was his turn he exclaimed, "O Jesus, I am a slave to drink. One of your servants has shown me how to be saved. O God, forgive my sins and help me overcome the power of this terrible habit in my life." Right there he was converted. That lawyer was C.I. Scofield, who later edited the reference Bible that bears his name.

We oftentimes expect miracles in a spectacular way. However, miracles do happen when we acknowledge our weaknesses and pray to God to ease our pain. Let GOD touch us in this music video. May the LORD heal us from all our pains.

Hi Cara my brilliant and awesome friend. I am happy to hear that your feeling better and that your son is with you. Always remember that the Lord will never leave or forsake you. He is also a very present help when we are in need. Each one of us have struggles, but we are learning that we can do all things through Christ who gives us the strength. Don't ever allow the Devil's number one weopon to get the best of you which is condemnation. God's conviction will lead us to freedom, but condemnation will drive us away from God and His people. God in His love corrects us and we love Him more.

How are you doing?? I miss you and was wondering how you were. i would love to hear more about what you and your fiance' are up to these days. i am soo happy for you that you have the ring and now when is the date???? Im patiently waiting!!!! How was your Xmas and what did you do this New Years Eve? Do you have a tradition that you have carried on? My mom has moved out of the house i grew up in and now is living in a home that she and her new husband built and i have had a hard time with that the last few months. I cant believe how attached I am to that old house. There are soo many memories attached to that house that it really has made me quite depressed. Its like Im mourning over a actual loved one or something. Plus, my mom didnt spend Xmas with us like she always had because she has been "too busy". I was blown away at that and quite upset. But I knew that she would regret that after a few days, and she did. I dont know why she wanted to move the same week as Christmas?! Oh well, that is my mother for you. Anyway, besides that great let down, our Xmas was ok. Not the best, but not the worst. Our kids loved it so I guess that is all that matters, right?? I now have to continue the traditions that my mother had and it is going to be different, but life is just that way. Its always changing, right??? You are at a blessed time of your life where you will remarry and start a wonderful marriage in Christ. That is soo cool. I wasnt saved when I got married. Thank you for the message. That was sweet of you to check in with me and let me know that you are still hanging in there. Life is a rollercoaster at times. Sometimes more in a christians life than in the life of the unsaved because satan doesnt want you to achieve what God wants you to do for His kingdom. Look at it as if Satan is trying to have his way with you so that you dont do something to destroy him. Something wonderful is going to happen to you and I if we just press on and continue to surrender to God daily. I have to make sure that I do every minute of every day. I feel awful if I do not ask God for forgivness and His grace to carry me through each day. Please be at ease that alot of women go through all kinds of "stuff", but the saved, like you and me, have a hope, a great physician,counselor and guide who will never leave us. Isnt that cool? So, anyway, I miss you and hope things are going better. if you need ot talk, you know where I am.

WET PANTS

Come with me to a third grade classroom..... There is a nine-year-old kid sitting at his desk and all of a sudden, there is a puddle between his feet and the front of his pants are wet. He thinks his heart is going to stop because he cannot possibly imagine how this has happened. It's never happened before, and he knows that when the boys find out he will never hear the end of it. When the girls find out, they'll never speak to him again as long as he lives.

The boy believes his heart is going to stop; he puts his head down and prays this prayer, 'Dear God, this is an emergency! I need help now! Five minutes from now I'm dead meat.'

He looks up from his prayer and here comes the teacher with a look in her eyes that says he has been discovered.

As the teacher is walking toward him, a classmate named Susie is carrying a goldfish bowl that is filled with water. Susie trips in front of the teacher and inexplicably dumps the bowl of water in the boy's lap.

The boy pretends to be angry, but all the while is saying to himself, 'Thank you, Lord! Thank you, Lord!'

Now all of a sudden, instead of being the object of ridicule, the boy is the object of sympathy. The teacher rushes him downstairs and gives him gym shorts to put on while his pants dry out. All the other children are on their hands and knees cleaning up around his desk. The sympathy is wonderful. But as life would have it, the ridicule that should have been his has been transferred to someone else - Susie.

She tries to help, but they tell her to get out. You've done enough, you klutz!'

Finally at the end of the day, as they are waiting for the bus, the boy walks over to Susie and whispers, 'You did that on purpose, didn't you?' Susie whispers back, 'I wet my pants once too.'

May God help us see the opportunities that are always around us to do good.

Remember -Just going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in your garage makes you a car.

Each and everyone one of us is going through tough times right now, but God is getting ready to bless you in a way that only He can. Keep the faith.

Hi Cara, Take my word for it that the Jehovah wittnesses are a cult. They believe Jesus was an angel and not God. the Bible says that in the last days many false religions would spring up and lead many astray.

last time I talked with 2 Jehovah Witnesses who came to my door, I was almost in tears because they were so deceived.

I do not know what your question is about Heaven or Hell. God wants everyone to be saved, but all will not be saved. God has made provission, but many will not receive the provission.

It is like having a cure for a deadly desease and all you have to do is receive the cure. Jesus is the cure for the sin condition that we were all born with, only His blood washes away sin.

Cara if there is an Alpha Course going on in your erea please go through it. I teach this course in my church and just finished a session which ran for 10 weeks.

I pray that God restore and strengthen your heart in the Lord. I pray that the Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth and will protect you from falsehood. In Jesus name I pray, amen

Hi Cara, I do lift up your sister and ask that God would heal her from this brain tumor. Please lift my sister up in prayer who has lung cancer and she is 52. They can't treat it because she has so many other problems so it is all in the hands of the Lord. She gave her heart to the Lord a year or so ago.

The Lord brings you to mind every now and then and I know God is with you helping you, and loving you with His perfect and wonderful love. Come before Him and pour out your heart to Him. He is eternally present with us and cares about all that concerns us.
