I am always excited to see new sisters in Christ come from all over the world to fellowship. I see that you are from LA and that is great. Im from Utah, so we are almosr neighbors! I couldnt help but to mention that your name really caught my attention. Im a muralist,(painter), designer,and illustrator and I was blessed to start alittle business with it whenI cam to Christ in 2002. But anyway, I worked at Calvary Chapel here in Salt Lake city and met another artist by the name Patty Johnson who was a remarkable woman of Christ and a face I could never forget. When I saw your name on the new member list, I was curious to see if it was her, and so I looked and there you were. You two look almost exactly alike, and the only difference that I could see between you was where you lived. Gee, God is funny. I believe He brought you here so we could be friends. isnt that funny. You dont by chance like to draw do you? or have a twin sister? just kidding.
Anyway, feel free to tell us a little more about yourself. What do you like to do as far as hobbies, recreation, work? Do you work or serve at your church? Just share with us alittle about yourself, and its always cool to see more pictures too of you and your loved ones. I love pictures so it helps me get to know others a little better. I do LOVE the song you added! That song really strikes a cord with me. I almost cry every time. I saw him in concert here in SLC a couple years ago. It was incredible!

Im just checking in to say hello. I hope that you are having a good time and feeling blessed and welcome here. It may be kind of hard at first to get used to things, but youll get the hang of it. You arent here by mistake. God will help you with anything you need help with.
Patty, I wanted to mention that my husband is 52 yrs old and has 2 girls from a previous marriage who are older with kids. So my husband has got 2 kids, and5 grandkids before our kids were born. So, his grandkids are older than 2 of his own children. Isnt that hilarious? Its soo hard to explain. After a long nasty battle fromthe divorce he had and emotions and anger that was stirred up, which I completely understand and own up to, after 6 years, we are all good friends and our families live just down the street from eachother. Funny huh? Its all God. I cant explain it any other way. God restored all that was broken, and it sounds like He did and will do it again for you!!!

Im sure glad you are here to fellowship with us. It is soo awesome that you have the faith in the Lord that you do and the passion you have to help others even when you are going through alot. that speaks volumnes!! When I have a bad day or I get really depressed, I tend to withdraw myself, and that isnt good. Lately I have and It really sucks. Im pulling myself out now luckily and feeling a little stronger each day as I just keep trying to be in the word as much as possible. Its hard with two little ones, but Im making it alright.
How is your family? What has the Lord done for you lately? I hope all is well with you and your family. I love your pictures. they are really cute!!!

I need some encouragement being a mom. Im absolutely full of exhaustion, and discouragement. I wish I could just run away. I had postpardum depression with my daughter, she is now 8 months, and I thought it was gone, but maybe not. I feel like i want to give up. How did you do this? How are you doing this? help!!! I have NO idea what Im doing or what I can do. Im responsible for these two children and it stresses me out. Oh man. Help!!! I need some prayer and some peace. I hope you can help me.

Thank you for the message. No worries on getting back to me. I havent been on as much as Id like either. I got really sick and so did both my kids, so its been alot of fun around here. The weather is soo beautiful here, and Im stuck inside with this yucky cold!!!Pray I get over this, I got soo much to do and only soo much time to do it. I have deadlines on a couple artpieces and I cant be this sick!! Thank you for all your love and prayers. Im soo glad you are here and are a part of AAG. How do you like it? Have you joined any of the groups or commented on the discussions? ome of those topics get pretty heated dont they? Did you introduce yourself in the womens group?
