Hi Nancy, I have just joined this site and this particular group and came across you. First, I grew up in the Sacramento area and later lived in Santa Clara and Los Gatos for over 5 years. I promptly moved back to Yuba City right after the Loma Prieta earthquake!!!! I thought it was cool enough to share with you...lol. In Sept. of 2005 I moved here to Lubbock, Texas with my parents when they retired... I was at that time in a very lost condition, not saved. My Mother and I found a little Church and I gave my life over to the Lord. May 5th, 2006 Mom was diagnosed with cancer, lung, some in her brain and pretty much throughout her body. I stayed in her home with her and took care of her. She went to be with the Lord Jan. 20th, 2007 and I still grieve. I miss her so very much. If not for God and His great love for me.... who knows?!

That is so true, we sometimes wasting money on useless things and sometimes we even wonder why Father doesn't bless us. There are even so many Christians that don't even give tithes. An interasting statisc that was given a while ago, stated that if the whole Christian Church would give their tithes as they were commanded. then there would be enough money to wipe out all famine. How accurate this is I do not know, but it is a quite scary thought, then on the other hand when we give our tithes then God will bless us, which means that we will have more to give. How awesome? See when you plant wheat, you plat one wheat seed and it produces a whole lot more than one seed, which means next time you have more seed available to plant, it is always a positive effect. See God is a faithful God and He can't go against His own word, as He even said.
Malachi 3:7 - 12 "Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return? Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts. "

Why TIME and not LOVE?

you can share that w/ anybody...

But TIME....

you can't stop it,

you can't control it....

Because you can never bring back the TIME that has passed by.So spend your TIME wisely and cherish it while you still have it.Spend TIME with people most important to you.For when TIME is lost,you can never bring it back and you will have to live w/ regret the rest of your life..
