enjoy this web site and hopefully to let others know what Jesus means to me.
Interests:
I sew, make my own cards on the computer, prayer, Bible study.
I'm passionate about...
living a life that is pleasing to the Lord. sharing Christ to whoeve I meet as the Lord guides. My family and their surrender to the Lord. My husband and I have been married for 49 years and I have
a real passion for us to grow in the Lord together.
My story with God
I started going to church when I was about 6-8 years old. I came from an abusive home on my father's part. However, my mother was a saint and I believe that because of her constant and determined trust in the Lord, I find myself walking with the Lord today. Eversince I started going to church I have had a deep love for the Lord. I strayed for a while, but, God in His mercy never gave up on me. Praise Him.
Other stuff about me:
Besides my husband I have two sons (one in heaven and one on earth) and six grandchildren.
In 1989-90 school year I was voted the National Bus Driver of the year. It was a real honor and I praise the Lord for giving me the opportunity to give the glory to Him. My husband and I belong to the CMA-Christian Motorcycle Assn. A group that is world wide and we have the privilege of serving the Lord by giving and praying for missionaries. The CMA is involved in giving to buy motorcycles, bycicles, horses- whatever mode of transportation that missionaries might need to get to those to whom they have gone to minister to. Also, Bibles for countries where the people are crying for them. These are all opportunities that God has given us to serve Him. It's all about Him and not about us. He is to be praised. We've been blessed, wouldn't you say? Thank you for letting me share. God bless you and all who are involved in putting this site together.

Hello Watchman, Thank you for your kind words. When I started driving 30 years ago it was with much prayer and I could write a book of how God has bless me over the years. Just apx 2 wks before school was out a high schooler got on the bus and told me, "Phebe I'm not riding home with you today, but, I just wanted to get on and give you a hug and let you know that I've appreciated having you for a bus driver. You've been a blessing and an inspiration to me and left an imprint on my life and you've strengthened my faith". To tell you that I was blessed would be an understatement. And I don't share this with you to boast for my only boast is in the Lord Jesus Christ and to be able to share my love for Him with kids on the bus has been a blessing greater almost than I can contain. In these days when we are limited in what we can share with the kids about Jesus, I was able to explain to them all about being born again and how I praise the Lord for the indications that He gave me that the message was having an impact on the kids. I'll miss them, for sure. But, God has promised that His Word would not return to Him void, but will accomplish whatever He desires where ever he sends it. Praise Him.
As I said before, All praise to Him, it's all about Him and not about me.
God bless you, Brother.
Hi Phebe! Yes, I'm getting your comments, so yes, you are doing it right. Thank you for you kind wishes and hope you are finding your way around the site okay. Be blessed today, in every way, in Jesus' awesome name.
Dear Sister Phebe
Your hope is my hope too. Just love to share what I read or hear in the church. But I am still a learner of Bible. Just keep in touch with all of us here to grow in Christ more.

Dear Sister in Christ, Are you a new Christian? I love hearing from you and hope that we can be a support to each other. I have been a Christian well over 50 years, but no matter how young or old we may be in Christ we can always learn from one another. As Roman 12 says: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. When I was a little girl I began going to church and I have always loved the Lord, but, life has it's struggles and sometimes we don't listen too well to the Lord and because of that we bring a lot of pain and grief on ourselves and to those we love the most. But, I am so glad that God never gives up on us. There is a scripture in Lamentations 3:22-24 It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
It always amazes me that God is so loving and for- giving. May God bless you and may you walk close to him and grow strong in His love.
Your sister in Christ. Phebe
Hi Phebe, I delivered propane gas for 20 years, I cant imagine it was any where as stressful as hauling kids. lol When I was 15 I was born again and you know what? My pastor was also my bus driver.
God was so good to have me be the last kid to be dropped of so we could talk. Thank God that he puts his people in the work place. Thanks for you comments, I am looking forward to getting to know you.

I love the story you shared. I could just picture you at that alter hungry for chicken. I thought the Lords supper was dinner after Sunday night service. I was pretty much unchurched at 15 when I was saved. It has only been 33 years for me. God is so wonderful. thanks for sharing.

Dear Brother in Christ, Thank you for the encouragement. It will be a good Christmas as we remember the Reason for the Season. As I remember that the manger had to lead to the cross if it were to have any meaning for us. I was just reading in 1 Peter 1 For as much as ye know that ye were not receemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold.....But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot....Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory:that your faith and hope might be in God. Praise the Lord for his good plan which made redemption possible to all who would believe in him. My faith and belief are the only thing that make it possible to face the Christmas Season with any hope or sense of singing in my soul. I have told the Lord that no matter what, I want to live for Him and serve Him with my whole heart and soul. We are going through some very difficult situations right now, but, I know that there is no need so small that Papa would just brush it off or so big that He is dumbfounded by it. We are in Good Hands. I'm casting all my cares on Him because I know He cares for me. I leave you with this scripture which I love, which is only one of many. Deuteronomy 33:27 There is no one like the God of Israel-- He descends from the heavens In majestic splendor to help you. The eternal God is your Refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms. God bless you this Christmas as we stand together as His children and know that with Him NOTHING is impossible. Soli Deo Gloria.
Phebe
Good morning dear sisters and brothers in Christ, To all of us who have lost loved ones who loved the Lord and trusted Him for salvation, I leave you with this message. In Hebrews 12:1 it reads: Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. When I asked my pastor about this, I asked him how heaven could be a happy place if this cloud of witnesses could see our pain and grief at sickness and loss of loved ones we suffer. His response was: That cloud of witnesses is there to encourage us every time we take a step with the Lord. Encouraging us to keep on keeping on in the race toward claiming the prize for which we've entered the race. Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. God is so good, He reminded me that we have entered a race and the very prize is the Lord Jesus Christ. In any race there are those on the sidelines cheering us on and so, too, this great cloud of witnesses. And in any race there is a finish line where those we love and have gone to be with Jesus are awaiting our arrival "home". So, dear ones, keep the finish line in site and know that when you get there, yes, our loved ones will be there, but more importantly, when we step across that finish line into glory that cloud of witnesses will part like the Red Sea and we will behold the face of Him, Whom we love, to spend all eternity. Oh, hallelujah. Is it any wonder that we wait with such anticipation. We'll cast our crowns at His feet and worship Him in purity for all of eternity. And there shall be no more curse. Revelation 21:3-4 Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
God bless you, Dear brothers and sisters. one day we will all be together rejoicing in perfect unity. I wonder if we won't know each other because of the encouragement we have been to each other. I hope so, because I want to meet each one of you and know you through your love for Jesus and for me. How I love this family to which we belong. Have a "Jesus-filled day!"
In 2 Peter chapter two Peter shares a some remarkable things about how to live out the Christian life. In verse three he says that Jesus has the power of God, by which He has given us everything we need to live for, and serve God. He goes on to say that we have these provisions because we know Him because Jesus called us by his glorious goodness.
In these provisions that God has given to us contains according to verse four, “great and precious promises.” And as we shall see as we read further into chapter two that with these provisions, or gifts, that we can share in God's nature and that we won't be ruined by the world and with it's evil desires.
Peter says that because we have these blessings that we should do our best to add some very important things to our lives. Notice the list begins with faith, then the list ends with a God kind of love.
All these things mentioned are fruits coming forth out of our lives because of our relation with the Lord and are the fruit that the Spirit produces in our lives. (see Galatians 5:22-23 )
Add to your faith, add goodness; that is as you are growing in your faith, to develop virtue.
To your goodness, add knowledge; that is in exercising goodness, develop knowledge. “Study to show yourself approved to God, a workman that needs not
to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” ( 2 Timothy 2:15 )
To your knowledge, add self-control; that is in growing in knowledge, develop self control.
To your self-control, add patience; that is in developing self control, allow God to make you more patient.
To your patience, add service for God; that is as we becoming more patient, we can began to serve God.
To your service for God, add kindness for your brothers and sisters in Christ;
And to this kindness, add love; that is while we showing kindness begin to exercise the love of God.
“And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” ( Romans 5:5 )
“If all these things are in you and are growing, they will help you to be useful and productive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But anyone who does not have these things cannot see clearly. He is blind and has forgotten that he was made clean from his past sins.” ( 2Peter 1:8-9 )
As I considered this passage it really speaks to my heart that our relationship with God begins with faith, and ends up with love, from something that is a substance of things hoped for, to a having the love of God poured into our hearts to touch this hurting world through our lives.
"Faith works through love." ( Gal. 5:6 )
Prayer Father God help us to learn to add to our faith those things that will makes us into useful vessels for your love to touch the world through us. In Jesus name amen.

I am being made aware that Jesus is coming sooner than many think. Many will not be ready for His return. We need to be ready, wise virgins, keeping oil in our lamps.
