- My story with God
- I grew up in home where only my mom served God. We were blessed with a wonderful mom. My mom died when I was 15 and my dad died when I was 25. I then lived with my eldest sister until I got married.
I have a wonderful husband, believe you me, If I say wonderful, then I mean it. God gave me this wonderful husband, he is my husband, he is like my mother, my father, my everything. September this year we'll be married for 14 years, 14 wonderful years. I grew up in a Lutheran Church and was once invited to the Baptist Church, 6 years back, I gave my heart to the Lord and I was baptized in the Baptised church. Still a baptist today. God took my parents away and made me a strong person. - Other stuff about me:
- I am a mom of 3 kids, 2 daughters ages 13 and 8. I was sterlized after my youngest daughter. But.. let me tell you this. Our lives are in God's hands, and sometimes we do things without consulting God. And this happened to me. I was sterlized but never discussed it with God. And guess what happened, I fell pregnant, this is how God works, He works in mysterious ways. And guess what more???? I was blessed with a healthy boy, now I have 2 girls and 1 boy. My son is now 2 years. Shows you, God is in contol of our lives.

Thanks for sharing and I join in your celebration of God's goodness. Yes! He answers faith-filled prayers!
I had been standing in faith about being set straight - yes, literally. I had quite a pronounced curvature in my back (scoliosis) which caused one leg to be shorter than the other.
Well, pastors from your country (S. Africa) came to visit our church and through the Word of Knowledge "heard" from God that there was someone who needed straightening out. Not only are my legs even, but my hips and, most importantly - Praise God!!! - my spine is perfectly straight for the first time ever!
So we'll continue praising Him together for all His wonderful blessings Sylvia - and keep on sharing to boost one another's faith, especially those who don't yet know Him.

I was unsure if you got my IM's...It was wonderful news that your prayers were answered...I have been praying diligenly for you and your family. I especially asked the LOED to rebuke your Landlord if he has been out of line in being honest with you and your husband.

You always amaze me by the size of the faith you have! If all of us had half the faith displayed in your life, we would be "overcomers" by right...
What can I say dear...we share in your joy for your victory is Christ's and all those who stood in intercession with you. I am so happy for you...and proud that you are never ashamed of Christ's cross. You bring to light trials you are facing...and bring us countless testimonies of victory too. You preach the power of the CROSS like no other pastor I have ever met though you are not 'officially' one. Surely, we are a unique family of kings and priests, hey!
I thank this site for you. It explains why I was ready to go East, West, North and South just to fetch you back when satan had momentarily blocked your fellowship.
Enjoy Christ's free victory...and let the world know that He is good beyond measure and gives all those who "dilligently" seak Him easy (and free!) victory.

Hey sweetie!!! How are you doing? Remember me? I kinda fell off the face of the earth for a while, but Im ready to roll!!! I didnt forget you or anyone else here on The Net in fact I dearly missed all of you. God just had directed my attention to some other things in my life that needed it. God works all things for good for those who are in Hime and trust Him. I have had my good days and my bad days, but I have made it through just fine, Iam doing really well and I love my church and new friends. I have alot of support and relationships with other moms which is very helpful as I keep on keepin on being a mom. It has been a experience. My daughter just turned 1 last August. She is getting soo big!!! My son will be 4 in December. He finally is potty trained!! Yay!! i thought he would never be. But anyway, like always it worked out alright. I just need to trust God more and know that it will be alright. I worry about everything all the time and it is enough to drive one crazy. Thank God for his love and mercy upon me. I need all I can get!!! Anyway, Im soo glad to get back and fellowship with you. Let me know all that has happened in your life. Ill be looking forward to getting your message!!! Love you tons!! What an awesome prayer the Holy Spirit gave you! Powerful! I want you to know, it's already working in our lives! The Lord told my husband that we are to move to Arkansas, where our daughter & 4 grandkids are. He has been getting work to make it happen, after a couple years of almost NO work! I've been getting personal words of prophecy & revelation. We have favor now, whereas people had been avoiding us because of our trials & poverty. We were really stuck. So, God bless you my dear, for sowing prayers into our lives! May He reture those same blessing on you & yours & your posterity 100 fold! In Jesus precious Name! AMEN.

Thank you Father that the testing of our faith produces endurance.
Therefore we prepare our minds for action, by keeping sober in spirit, by fixing our hope completely on the grace to be brought to us at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

I hope that all is well wiht you and youe family. I thank God for all the prayer friends I have. Truelly there is power in prayer and no devil can convience me otherwise. Just to say that I will be going for an interwiev on Monday at 12noon. I have been trusting God for this very specific job. I trust that I will be succesful in it as I deeeply desire to with this NGO who is christian based. Please do continue to pray for me.
I trust that you are fine and thank you so much for being an encouragement when I needed it most. Only God knows that you have really touched my heart as I was going through a difficult period in terms of finding work, I pray that our relationship will continue to grow from strengh to strengt in the LOrd JEsus.

Father God will you speak to Sylvia's boss and tell him to give sylvia a raise in her pay and let him realise how blessed he is to have a Christian working for him. Let this raise be beyond Sylvia's expectations. Father help Sylvia to be at peace and give her courage if she is to speak to her boss. Father I do agree with my sister that this is a good thing to ask you for. Your Word promices that you will meet all our needs for foodc cloths, and shelter. Please "WIN the 10/40 WINDOWS" for JESUS CHRIST.
The 10/40 Windows (located between 10 - 40 degrees North of Equator - between West Africa to East Asia) need Missionaries, have no church at all, and there live about 40 percent of the world population. INDONESIA, my country is in the 10-40 windows though we have churches. Please also pray for ISRAEL and all over the world. Let's get on our knees, praying hand in hand with me for their revival. I look forward to the day when the Lord who I kneel to worship will be recognized by all the living and the dead as the One True Lord.
