This is Paige, another moderator here on TheNet, and Im very blessed to have you join our community of believers, as we grow in the love and wisdom of our Lord .
Its soo neat to meet new friends here from all around the world . You will find TheNet a safe place to get to know other believers and share your love and life in Christ.

I really like it here because its a great online source of Christian information,and fellowship. When I find it hard to get out of the house or hard to get to church, I get online and get "filled" with His word and all the other believers and thier prayers. Its soo good to know that when Im hurting there are others that are too and in need of the same love and support I do from the Lord. Praise God for His work on the Cross!!! We are all one body now and can work together to heal and help other members.

Also, Diane Id like to invite you to come over and visit us in the Womens Group where women from all ages and all walks of life come to encourage and be encouraged to help, and be helped, to share thier wisdom with other women , and get prayer that we all need as women to continue in our faith and the path God has set before us all.

I read more about you and you mentioned that you didnt know what to do with your children, well, I have a 1year old and a 4 year old and dont have any idea what Im doing what so ever!!! Maybe you could help me. im sure you have great wisdom being a Christian so long, and raising a family. I tell you, I love my kids, but I get scared that I am not a good parent. I do the comparison thing with other moms, and I know I shouldnt, but I end up doing it anyway. I drive myself nuts? Do you think you could help a sister out? Maybe I can help you with your children in understanding what they may be doing and why if they are about my age which is 35. Believe me, I was really worldly and there was no hope for me whatso ever!! I was a real "pill", but God got a hold of me and saved my life in 2001. I am a changed person. Well, anyway, I need to shut up and let you go. Hope to hear back from you and welcome again!!

Thank you for your message. It was so great to hear back from you so quickly. Your advice is definately appreciated. I worry excessively about how to raise my children in such a fallen world. I constantly compare myself to other mothers and it really does no good. But I dont know what Im doing. I guess I have always been insecure so raisung kids really gets the insecurity going. Please pray for me. Thank you. You are awesome. Keep pressing into the Lord daily. He loves you soo much no matter what you have done now or in the past. I have to remember that constantly.

You know, I dont even know how I found this website either! Hmmm gee, must be a God thing!
I was in your kids shoes as far as God is concerned. I thought I was going to heaven no matter what. I felt that way about everyone too. I was wrong most definately. To get me to be saved took some time. Well, a couple years actually. I had went to a christian church with a friend after battling an eating disorder, and it freaked me out to see these people happy and going into holy ghost fits and lying on the floor. I was absolutely blown away! Well, after experiencing all that the first time, I didnt go back. My friend was kind of disapointed in me. She wanted to help me and she knew that if I didnt accept Christ, Id die. 2 years later, I was homeless and weighing 86 pounds. I didnt do drugs or smoke. I was anorexic and I had addiction to sex and I made money at it. I know that kind of freaks you out, but its the Truth. It took me to hit that bottom in order to even try God at all. So I went with my friend again,got saved, and BOOM I had God. That was in 2002 after Utah winter Olympics. Well, what Im trying to tell you is that God can and will heal about anybody. No matter what they have done. Am I ashamed? well, sometimes, but I know that Gods got me in the palm of His hand. Yourkids will see Him and see HIm clearly. Lets keep them iin prayer.
Anyway, IM doing well. I had a hard Xmas because I didnt see my family like I always do, but change will happen and that is a part of life. Painting is going well. Im painting the Lion and the Lamb in a nursery. Its cute,. well, I better go. I loved getting a message from you. You are loved. Have a great day!

I never thought Id be like this, but now that I have children, I notice that Im a little more easily annoyed,frustrated,agitated, and downright moody!!! I had my son in 2004 and I was just fine. But after my second one, I have been a mess since. If it is postpardom depression, I didnt think it would last over a year!!
Maybe? hmmm Well, I know that I am taking every nesesary way to get well. Im not one to just sit back and pity party,so I know Im doing what I need to do. Above all I have God and thank God for that! I still cannot comprehend how He loves me unconditionally. Its really kind of strange to me after all Ive done.
Anyway, so I understand what you said about getting mad and all that. I hope I can get over this season of my life.

Thank you for such inspiring words and encouragment. I really appreciate your wisdom and insight. Its hard day in and day out to look at this positivley sometimes, but I must. I must try and I cant give up. I love my kids, but IM soo overwhelmed with the what if''s and the why's, and the who's that I cannot focus on life and the reality of it. I just float through I think. I better get it straight, or im not going ot have the life God wants me to have. I hope His mercy and grace pours over me when I feel like this. Thank you soo much for the message. I am tired and weary from fighting and that is what Gods want s to be so that He can work in my life. I have spent alot of time in prayer and talking to other wise Christioan friends about the various issues in my life which is a blessing. But I have to have more faith in od even though things dont go my way, or the situation looks bad. I get disapointed, so when I screw up, I think God is disapointed in me. Its a vicious cycle. If I really think about it, God has never failed me. It may have taken a long time, or it worked out a different way than what I wanted, but He did come through. I worry excessivley, and it makes me ill mentally and through the years as I get older, it affects me physically. This isnt good for my kids to see, and that adds more stress. So, you can see now all that I have taken on. I wish God would just do a miracle and take this bondage of depression away from me.
Anyway, I thank you again for your time, and love. You are dear. and God loves you. he created a beautiful woman to share His love with me. Thank you

hello diane. the weather here is nice. we're done with the hot summer, so we have now rains in the afternoon and early evenings. that makes the night cool and we don't use airconditioners anymore when we sleep. but when the rain comes harder, then we will have storms and typhoons. this is not nice to us, we get floods but we always cope, with God's help of course.

To all my beautiful Christian friends. I was in Jeremiah just now I relate to him, because he was the weeping prophet. He also explains why God doesn't make everything all right every time. People always say, well if there's a god, then why does he allow these terrible things to happen. Jeremiah tells why. But, you know, sometimes your whole ministry is with your family. Some have their hands full or they would if they were tending to just their own family. We're all different and we're all supposed to be doing different things. And we have nothig to fear, but fear.

The 10/40 Windows (located between 10 - 40 degrees North of Equator - between West Africa to East Asia) need Missionaries, have no church at all, and there live about 40 percent of the world population. INDONESIA, my country is in the 10-40 windows though we have churches. Please also pray for ISRAEL and all over the world. Let's get on our knees, praying hand in hand with me for their revival. I look forward to the day when the Lord who I kneel to worship will be recognized by all the living and the dead as the One True Lord.
