My story with God: In 1992 I repented of my sins and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Saviour. Nevertheless, I was not fully committed to Him until the end of 2006, when I finally gave all control of my life over to Him. I love Him and praise His Holy Name. One of my favourate verses is Proverbs 3:6 "In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths."
Other stuff about me:: Apart from the love and compassion I have for my fellow humans, I enjoy working with plants. I keep healthy by walking regularly, and try to maintain a healthy diet. Our bodies belong to God and we should be sensible in what we consume. Laughter is important. Good music. Creative work, like sketching and painting, sewing, very good for the soul. God gave us our talents, so we should use it to His glory! I am divorced, single, (since 1996) have no children, live in Portugal, but am South African. Moved here in 2006. I praise God under all circumstances, no matter how difficult it might be. It is when we fully surrender to Him in our weakness, that He strengthens us to continue where He leads us.

You can also leave a message on someone personal page, but note that everyone will be able to read what you leave there.

IMs: You can IM anyone who is on line by clicking on their picture located at the upper right part of the page.

Chat Room: There is a chat room located near the top of the AAG main page. It is a great place to get to know people better.

Videos: You can also upload Christian videos on the AAG main page or watch them. They are located down the left side of the main page.

Hello and thank you for chosing be as a friend. I am amazed that so many people from different parts of the world have contacted me is such a short time. Our siituations are quite similar. I am also single, divorced, with no children. I considered myself to be Christian all my life, but always felt that something was missing. Last year I surrendered my life totally to Christ and received blessed salvation. I now know what I was missing. I am still relatively new at this and pray daily for guidance in my sprirtual growth and thank Him for the path that led me to where I am.
I used to work with a young lady from Portugal several years ago and I will always remember how her voice would soften when she talked about her home there.
Bless you for the work you do in bible counselling. I am hoping to do a mission trip sometime in the next year, myself.

My dear friend, it is not just a feeling but a reality you are experiencing when you become aware of your connection to Christ. This is what being a Christian is all about. We are told in Colossians 3:1-3:
1: So if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
2: Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth,
3: for you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

We cannot fully comprehend the deep connection that is between us and Christ. But let us not be cheated of its reality by allowing our natural mind to think it is a fantasy. I am glad you are conscious of it as a reality.

I thank God for the way the Holy Spirit is moving upon you today. You are one of God's precious ones. And I am so grateful to God for bringing me into contact with you. I know you pray for me and I am thankful. I am praying for you too.

Your'e a pretty big part of His wonderful name,for U,He was born;thats why he came. And His great love for U is the reason He died.It even takes U to spell crUcified. Isn't it thrilling and splendidly grand, He rose from the dead with U in His plan? The stones split away,the gold trUmpet blew,And this word resUrrection is spelt with a U. When Jesus left earth at His upward ascension,He felt their was one thing that He just had to mention. Dear friends, I want to thank you all for your prayers for my niece Jasmin, and for her mom and family. Please will you continue ? My sister (Jasmin´s mom), had been touched by the Lord today: She had asked the Lord to transfer Jasmin´s illness to her, and let Jasmin be healed instead. The Lord then very clearly made my sister see that is exactly how He felt on the cross for our sakes! She then realized the incredibly, pure love He has for us, and that He would die for us again and again so great is that love. He then immediately filled her with His peace. Please keep praying and believing with us for complete healing in Jasmin´s breast and her body.Thank you all. God bless you all.
