My story with God: I came from A CHRISTIAN BACK GROUND GROWING UP ATTENDING CHURCH AS A CHILD WITH MY MOM & GRANDMOTHER BEING INSTRUCTED TO GET TO KNOW GOD.As they would tell us about God we should pray,and what miricles he could work in our lives.I BECAME AWARE OF RIGHT AND WRONG.I BEGIN TO BUILD A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD AT A EARLY AGE AND I WOULD PRAY ALSO AS A Child GENESIS WAS THE FIRST lesson I learned of the Bible at age 10,or 11.But as I became a teenager I drifted from God,but later at 18 years old I ASKED JESUS CHRIST TO COME INTO THE FLESH. I 'm a spirit filled Christian driven to aim to please my Father do his will so I can Inherit the Kingdom of heaven.

Awesome you are reading James and Proverbs since James is considered
a wisdom book of the New Testament.

That is one of the verses that has hunted me (by God's Grace) since I learned it. If you love me obey my commandments. When I am wavering in my walk the Spirit just brings that verse echoing in my heart and mind with such pounding that I am lovingly force to yield to God's will.

Sis share a nugget of the word you think I should have engraved in my soul. A bible verse or lesson.

When we truly understand what this verse is saying, life takes on a whole new chapter. To obey Gods commands frees us to become all we can be through Him. A beautiful verse sis.

John 2:15 interesting choice. I was going to share why I like that verse but would rather hear what it is that impacts you about it first.

Romans 10:17 (New King James Version)
17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God
I believe this verse speaks about the obvious hearing, but I think it goes deeper than that. I think its talking about hearing the Spirit as He leads us to all truth when we are enjoying are personal study time.
Hahaha right on sis, for what does it matter if we know the truth and don’t practice it. I am not easily impressed but your choice of verses has blessed me and impressed me. You are a beautiful child of God sis, is good to know you.

I have seen you on the chat room a few times and tried to start a conversation with you, but you ignored me  hahaha I feel so neglected hehe just kidding sis about the ignored and neglected stuff, but I have tried to talk to you a few times when I see you in the chat room.

I said I was rude only because I did not wished you a Happy New Year on the message I left you around new year’s time, and you were kind enough to remember me. That was all. I am extremely easy going and a goofball at times, so bear with me beloved.

I love the book of 1 John for similar reasons as yours. A lot can be said about those verses, I have actually preached messages using them. I like your personal take on them, but I will tell you what they mean to me in a nutshell, which is practically the same thing you are saying –

We understand that God is not saying through the apostle to hate the physical world, the earth, but the system of the world, the under current driving society, we do not fight flesh and blood, but principalities etc. To compromise our faith to please the world’s system is to go against the word our God, and the agape (sacrificial love) love for our Lord is not in us. Now one thing is to fall short from time to time, but another one altogether is to love the world in the manner we habitually walk. That is what is being condemned here, choosing the world over God as a life style.
When we understand that our stay on this beautiful planet is but a blink of an eye and WE ARE ETERNAL HALLELUJAH. Life for us becomes abundant!

Is hard to find Godly woman today, and with what you wrote (having no reason to doubt your statements) and the Spirit giving witness of your spirit, i can truly tell you that you have impress me. You brought Joy to my heart with those words.

Soon the World is going to experience the Rapture, as it's ushered on the doorstep of humanity... In a moment, In the Twinkling of an Eye, The Rapture will be an Earthly fact of Living Reality.

Notice the Door is open (Rapture) in Revelation 4:1, and Matthew 25:10 shares the Bridegroom (Jesus Christ) came, and those who were Ready (Awake) (Wise) Lamps Lit, and filled with oil went in with him to the Marriage, and then (the Door was shut.) and those Left Behind entered the Tribulation.
